Why didn't anyone ask Dan, what did AR do wrong? Stat wise, was probably one of the most efficient games in history considering the sample size of 7 plays.

One did, I just posted about it. Right at the beginning. After Mullen said AR, "does special things but doesn't always do the right thing," the reporter followed right up by asking what he's not doing right. This was was his answer:

"I mean, I could, I'm not...it'll bore you. It'll...it'll bore you, actually though. But I mean, we're pretty lucky, we have two quarterbacks that are pretty talented guys, can make plays happen out there on the field. But there's a lot of things, you gotta read. There's a lot that the quarterback has to do, a lot of different reads that are out there on the field. Does that make sense?"

Thank you! I didn't catch what was said there.

I just read this and I believe what Cousin Eddie said was:

I would like to think that he's just covering for EJ.
But lately I have been underestimating the stupidity of people so...

EJ with almost another pick, threw it right into a damn rush hour traffic jam.

I take it back, it just went up on YouTube a few minutes ago. Here it is. If you suffer from high blood pressure be sure to take your meds first.

A QB can't TURN THE BALL OVER. Ints and fumbles. Everyone knows it can and WILL cost games. EJ is giving away INTs like they're candy corn. Maybe AR would be worse. If so, Mullen better read EJ the riot act.

What Mullen wants to say:

There is some truth to this. When I take the time to go through a game in slomo...looking at the line play or CB play (position relative to where the ball is going), I see things differently (most of the time). Plus ... we don't get all the film so the angles are limited.

I no longer take the time to repeat the games. Muschamp and Butters ruined my ambition.

I did see (I think) the CBs in better position this game. Maybe there's hope there.

I don't like the footwork of either QB when they throw. They both have strong arms but piss poor footwork will cause ints. By this time the footwork (at least for EJ) s/b automatic. Maybe Dan spent all his time coaching up Lurch then Trask ... leaving EJ to hang out to dry? That sounds like Mullens M.O.. Maybe it will slow down for EJ over the course of the season.

This Saturday isn't going to be pretty.

Honestly ... more worried about D than the O. Mullen can get real conservative in the pass game to prevent turnovers. Grantham ...just ... sucks.

Ahh yes. It’s too deep. We simpletons wouldn’t understand. We, along with everyone else that has watched the games are wrong. He’s right on pace for his own midline by years end.
Get a grip.

How can there be 4 defenders in one spot? The other side of the field HAD to be completely free of defenders. :headslap:
Dan Mullen is famous for his one or two man pass routes.

Chimp did it a lot too.
