I can believe that the BOT is frustrated with Mullen but I don't see that Mullen has any reason to be frustrated with them. The fcvvker makes nearly $8m per year and they approved it.

Then again, he's an arrogant bass-tard so maybe in his delusional mind they've done something to disrespect him.

If Mullen requested additional funds for facilities or support staff and was turned down, then that could be a source of frustration for him. Of course, if something like that did happen, but he gladly accepted that raise, then he shouldn't be too upset about not getting what he asked for. He also seems to get frustrated and annoyed by anyone who questions any of his decisions, so there are a number of possibilities why he could have problems with somebody.

His demeanor has definitely changed. I think he was reprimanded for almost starting a riot at half-time exit and complaining about Tex AM crowd vs our home crowd. The show cause and recruiting errors didn’t help with the Foleyites. Also, we didn’t pay him or his coaches for meeting certain bonus requirements that were met…

Why wouldn't we pay bonuses? Weren't they contractual?

I don't want to get my hopes up. This makes sense for Mullen though. He should really give this some serious thought. He will never be truly embraced here. The Pac 12 would be easier to win for him. We could get someone that's a better fit. Please God let the next guy be able to recruit if this somehow happens.

The only thing I hope is that Usc at least insists that the new coach give some type of role to esteemed alum, Jeff Fisher. By all accounts, the guy is bottoming out and clearly needs a job and just a change in his life's trajectory. Reports are he was booted from the efficiency motel he was staying at after an altercation with a UPS driver whom he claimed had stolen his portable radio.

Somehow he was wrongly informed that the vols wanted to offer last year and he was ready to accept anything sight unseen. Even set up a press conference for himself in the banquet room of that Bob Evans near the interstate, only to lean from a reporter who happened to be eating breakfast there that they'd gone with Huepel instead. Already struggling, that moment apparently sent him into an even worse spiral. Do the right thing Usc. Trojans are supposed to take care of their own. Help this man.

His dad was Spurrier’s center when he won the Heisman…

then SOS is intimately familiar with him...
I played QB for a couple of years growing up. I never could get used to putting my hands up under the sweaty taint of the center.
Thank God for the shotgun.

Only one little problem with that. USC isn't batshlt crazy. They have about as much interest in Numbnuts as the NFL does. We're going to have to fire him because no one is taking his 7.5 million a year contract travesty off our hands.

Can't a university lower an HC salary 'til they quit.? --- just trying to spread at least a little hope for you guys.?

Michigan did it. Of course Harbaugh could have just refused to take the pay cut and they could have fired him.

I think in our case Mullinz would just say fire me and pay me my 7.5 million for this year and the other 20 million you owe me.

you know we just made him the third highest paid coach in college football right?

for 8-4 and a worse than Zook appearance in a Zook bowl.
