No...I think you are referencing the presser after the USF game when the reporter used Mullen's comments about AR missing reads when questioned after the FAU game about the QB controversy.

Hey, we all know that Danny Boy is famous for putting his big foot in his mouth.
But he is still a major upgrade from old horse teeth and the Chumpster.
AR is not going to be up to par this weekend, and playing him can easily
make his condition much worse. Best to rest him, as long as Jones doesn't
implode. Should AR be pressed into service his running ability will be limited at best,
rendering him pretty much one dimensional. Against a team like 'Bama, that is a recipe for disaster.

Which word did he emphasize? Did he say, "Why would Jerry bring anything?" or, "Why would Jerry bring anything?" You emphasize "Jerry" or "bring."

I'll have to go back and look at what Threat said, but if Im understanding correctly, Mullen's original negging of AR about not making proper reads and stuff like that was after the FAU game and the question being asked of which we are talking was worded using Mullen's words from the original neg of AR.

The most watched hamstring in the country is on the mend and on track to allow Anthony Richardson to play this Saturday, according to Dan Mullen.
Richardson pulled up grabbing his right hamstring at the tail end of an 80-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter of the Gators' win over USF.
Richardson has had hamstring issues in the past dating back to high school and as recent as spring camp. While the prognosis seems to be good in terms of getting him on the field Saturday, only time will tell how or if he'll be limited by the injury.

I'm not onboard with firing Mullen. Do I think he has areas to improve? ABSOLUTELY
The thing to realize is that you aren't going to find somebody better out there. Look at some many of these other programs that have changed coaches. Look at what we went through with Champ and McElwain. It isn't easy to find a good college coach, because there aren't that many.
We have a better chance of Mullen growing and become a championship caliber coach (I think he has that potential if he chooses to make hard choices) vs. hiring somebody who will become that.
Until there is a clear cut reason or a clear cut better option, I'd rather watch good entertaining football than be FSU or what we were post Meyer.
