He covers a lot of ground, but he is not so good at taking on an OL. Hence why he would be a great OLB.

The GNFP kinda shows that it isn't a Moon problem so much as it is a Grantham problem of lining Moon up way to far to the inside, so much so that Moon can't make up the ground.

He is lining up inside because he is playing one of the two inside linebacker positions, and the DL are playing one gap so the inside linebackers have primary responsibility for a gap.

The "outside linebackers" are the one Rush backer, who isnt a backer at all but a DE with his hand in the dirt most of the time, and the Star who we describe as a LB/safety hybrid but is reality just a 3rd CB.

Skillwise he SHOULD be an OLB, but we just dont play one.
