You know, I keep hearing him saying Miami is doing well, D line doing good things, etc, Bammer OL not as good, so I was buying innJUST A LITTLE.... then I glance at the score and see Bammer 27 Miami 3.
Oh well. I guess it means relatively good and at least it isn't 52-0.

It would be better for all involved if we did away with this scoring nonsense. Every player should be evaluated against the team standard based on the called play and how he executed relative to his capabilities. Talent and physical prowess must be taken out of the equation for sports equity to be realized.

Corch @stephenPE pay attention to the names. Hear alot of Kaiir and Dexter? Thats because they are elite players playing like elite players, which is why we need more elite players.

Haven't watched it yet...will do it tomorrow during lulls of work...but let me guess, fathead Tod had some stupid blitzes in the first quarter and Young threw right where the LB that delayed the blitz would have been.

What are we doing? We want the score to be close. We'd rather have a 2 point loss than actually take a chance at stopping them and risk a TD over the top and take away the moral victory.

he was flabbergasted with the 2 high safeties with Bama trying to run out the clock. He’s saying there aren’t even receivers lined up for routes and we’re dropping safeties back.

Wasn't too happy with 2 high safeties on a 3rd and short either. And soo many open receivers. How many times did we have two on one leaving an open receiver? Fat Todd makes his money off of inexperienced QBs. Hope we don't face any experienced ones.

he’s dog shyt. Hopefully we have a bunch of sacks on inexperienced QBs this year and it leads to him getting a head coaching job somewhere else. Only way Mullen will get rid of him IMO.

Safety play IS better. Playcalling is still maddening. And it isn't like Saban1.0 defense where they always showed one thing then rotated to something else. We just show suck and run a suck play.

This Alabama offense and the quarterback play is nowhere near where it has been the last few years. We're fortunate they only scored 31. Bryce currently is way above average in talent, but barely average when it comes to reading defenses. He'll get better as he gains experience, but as long as Grantham is our DC, we will not have a better opportunity to beat Bama than the one they just blew a few days ago.

Yeah I'd like to think we win out, get a 2md crack at them, use the loss as motivation all year, then finally play and coach hard enough to get over the hump against them in ATL.
Unfortunately my gut tells me the opposite. They continue to improve and gain more experience and are a lot better by December. And it's the same story, playing from behind and not enough horses.
