At least we didn't stink it up.

Grantham is still Grantham.

I wonder what AR would have done?

They played a tough game but mistakes cost them in the end. 1 Int and a missed extra point. We just couldn't rebound quite enough to make up for it. I guess the one positive is that if we continue to play like this I'd say we have a good chance to see another shot at Bama in the SEC Championship game. Maybe next time the mistakes will be left at home.

Moral victories are for losers, but I should post some of the crap the dumpers posted this week. 440 yds total offense, 240 yards rushing. 6 do per play vs 5. Our total offense beat theirs by more than 100 yds.

Anyone know why they didn’t onside kick?

3:10 left, 2 timeouts. If Bama gets two first downs. It’s game over. What would it matter if they got the ball at midfield?

Surprising result, but can't help but think how Richardson would've affected the game. Hope we have a chance to see in Atlanta

Funny you say that, but I have to believe that the result was the absolute best result in Cousin Eddie's mind. Figuring Bama was going to win, he holds out AR, thus giving him a built in excuse after a loss: "Well I did not have my 2 QB system, therefore I could not have my entire game plan to work with". But since the final score was a 2 point margin I have to think Cousin Eddie is rubbing himself raw!!!

Forget how poorly he mismanaged the final 3 minutes. Either way Bama wins, but you have to think of giving your team the best opportunity and using the timeouts immediately was the only way to go, not saving them until after Bama makes a 1st down and giving your team 5 seconds. Yes I know that Cousin Eddie did not hold onto the ball on the last play, EJ did, but they were coming off the sideline following a punt. Here is exactly what Cousin Eddie should have said to EJ: 'I do not give a shyt what happens but that ball MUST leave your hand.". My guess is Cousin Eddie said this to EJ: "Whatever you do, do not throw a pick 6"!!!.

I was shocked at how well we adjusted from a disastrous start. The team battled their asses off. Cannot lose the turnover battle or miss easy kicks to beat a Bama team.

Come on guys. This is not a moral victory. There's no such thing. But this team is better than I thought it was. If AR had been able to go when we got near the goal line who knows. I was wrong and glad I was.

I haven’t been a huge EJ guy, but you guys realize Trask took a sack in the final play in Atl as well, right?
Yes but Trask never had a chancel, he was swarmed. EJ had 3 guys streaking down the right side, scrambled away from the pressure and needed to heave it. Instead he tucks and runs directly into 2 defenders. We weren't going to score but it was just another example of a bad decision.
