@soflagator , I saw the tweet from lingard. Its not there now. I'm paraphrasing but it said "I dont know what more I have to do to play"
Be more senior. It is impossible to believe he didnt know the rule.

All of our opponent's recruiters sure beat us up with it.

The problem is we’ve seen him in mop up duty and he’s been ok, but certainly not great. Watch that 99 yard drive and tell me how you’re in front of 3rd string Wright. Hate saying it but maybe just isn’t cut out for competition. In reality, you have to work wonder if one of the three in front may not have signed had he made the right call in the first place. The portal isn’t only an imperfect fix for teams and coaches. I’ve always felt transferring was quite possibly short sighted for the player too, as teams will continue to seek and sign others while you do it. Wish him the best.

You complain about not having depth and then complain when we have it. Seniority isn’t the reason a twice injured RB is only getting mop up duty. I’d take every one of those three in front of LL all day and so would you.

No, I really dislike taking transfer trash whom already quit once because as soon as they didnt start as freshmen at their last school. The habe proven records of failing and quitting. Why would we be surprised?

And you can check the archives, I like Bowman, but I didnt like Lingard or Cox even as recruits.

Two of the 4 QBs in the 2020 playoff were transfers who couldn’t play.

Its definitely a mixed bag and can’t be relied on. That I agree with.

Cox had a solid day today, btw. Biggest mistake was not catching that pick. Would’ve been huge.

They wouldnt have played for us either, any year. Sit and wait.

There us also a huge difference between a guy like AR who clearly is one of the best players in CFB today, who every team in the country will be trying to land, and a guy like Lingard.

I agree. The first three in front of him have played superbly. When he is coming in for mop up duty, he has been OK. But he has done nothing that makes me think he should supplant those top three

Cannot let Mullen lose his way upward. He would ruin the CFB ranking system. Moving up the Gators' ranking improves on what we have proved. Running the table should make for better recruiting.
