Nice flip there. Assign the holier than thou attitude to others by insisting that they believe in “moral victories “.
You lectured people because they predicted a bigger loss than what it was. That's asinine.

Underestimating your own team by 2 touchdowns is a football error. But that is not what bothers those of us who saw heart and grit as well as talent Saturday.
I think what bothers us is the lack of accountability by the dumpers who predicted a massive beat down and who, when their football ignorance was exposed, lacked the guts to own up. Instead they cynically (as cowards) tried to change the narrative and blame a moral victory mentality on those who more accurately foresaw the outcome. Grow a pair and man up.

I absolutely underestimated our Gators pushing Bama around in the trenches - that was incredible. My issue is I have zero faith in Dan Mullen to lead any team to any kind of titles. It's a lousy staff.

Im not willing to concede Bama as the 2021 SEC Champions like everyone else is either. They look very beatable. I think we played really good but its early in the season and Bama is getting a lot of credit because of their past.

Marco Wilson was too busy throwing shoes and talking trash on Twitter to bother with such things as "leadership" and "defending a pass."
WAS. He's gone lets move on from that loser.....He is in the the "those we don't speak of" category!

It doesmt really matter what fans concede, or if fans focus on the next game or anything else.

It matters whether not the staff and teams is proud of losing or wishes theyd aacrually played in the first quarter too, which frankly, we rarely do.

While I guess it is possible in the realm of reality that our staff and team are posting here with me, I highly doubt it and think it is just fans of our great Gators. The moral victory pumpers are using the foundation that Bama has already won the SEC this season to equate our 2 point loss as something great when in fact after watching Bama this season it appears that their road to the SEC isn't a done deal by any measure.

Point is...we lost...its only week 3.

I hear you and, to date, I agree.
That's what makes this upcoming Tennessee game so intriguing IMO: it's an overmatched opponent whom we've dominated of late coming here to play a night game in the Swamp. They're playing for pride, we're playing--possibly--for more.

Mullen has botched this type of game several times before--no clearer example of this than last year's LSU debacle; but really, the seeds of that were sown in almost every game before that when he had vanilla gameplans and playcalling after the georgia win.

Has he learned from that? Do we come out, dominate from the get-go with disciplined football on both sides of the ball and stomp on Tennessee early/often and cruise to a victory? Or do we try to win the game in second gear and "save ourselves" for the more crucial matchups later in the year vs georgia and--potentially--a rematch with Alabama?

Most importantly, how does the team come out? We can still dominate Tennessee with 100% effort/focus from the players, even IF Mullen and the staff are putting in 70% effort...that's IF the players have team leaders who are demanding focus, effort, and intensity in practice and the game this week. Last year's team took their lead from Mullen and was usually going through the motions vs overmatched opponents and it bit them in the ass. Have the players learned from that and made the improvements/adjustments in both focus and effort to become the team they are?

We'll see. But Go Gators on Saturday.

Meh...I think we blow the doors off UTooth. I think our test comes the next game against UK when we go on the road and have to experience noise again.

Im proud. Im loud and was part of the crowd. I dont care if the team is proud. I just want them to get some swagger and confidence. I think we saw that Saturday when they realized they could go toe to toe with all the five stars

This UT game should give us that controlled opportunity to get our backups rational "all-out" playing time. Go get'em Gators.

But you do acknowledge there is virtually nobody disagreeing with you, right?

Disagree. The moral victory folks have been rare but nearly all have been dumpers bringing it up as a diversion. Pumpers have been vitually unanimous in stating that it was a hard fought game but it’s a loss. No such thing as a moral victory. You win or you lose.
