Mullen tried AR at riding the stationary bike on the sidelines but it kept shooting into the endzone.

Could be, might not be. EJ is a product of this system. Mullen did this same crap last season and an argument can be made that EJ didn't get the proper development since all he did was come in as a change up to Trask throwing and given nothing but running plays.

Furthermore, AR does just sit for an hour and then comes in for 10 seconds and then sits for another hour. Suprise surprise...pulled hammy. How about building a damn lead and then putting AR in for the rest of the game.
Because we won't build a lead with EJ :stirpot:

Did I read correctly that UT cancelled their game with Army next year then scheduled Akron?
Are they afraid of the vaunted Army offense?

They’re going to honor the 1995 SEC Champion football team at the game, 25th anniversary delayed due to COVID from last year.

And the Ut game that year…such a memory, coming from 17 points down to win & Fulmer whining that we ran the score up. Apparently Joey Kent will officially have his tongue returned to him.

That was the rain game, right? I remember running back to the stadium at halftime after the midgame Tailgate

It was the rain game... SI followed Peyton Manning all week to write an article on him and him beating Florida. Then after the game, they interviewed Wuerfell and the picture of him on the cover was him doing the pray hands in the rain (still have the issue).

Had the pleasure of being there and sitting in the UT section. Huge, fatty, mouthy women sitting in front of us with UT pins all over their clothes. Various rednecks in the section were taunting my buddy and I when they were up 30-14 (one asshat stood up and said about Wuerffel "he just can't throw it like ooooold Peyton Manning!"- they all cheered). We then had 48 unanswered points, which I would stand up and announce after every score. "That's 21 unanswered!" "That's 35 unanswered!" Unfortunately, by the time I got to 48 unanswered we were the last two people sitting up there in a completely empty section.

I've never been that wet in my life, at least with clothes on. Also, that hit on Joey Kent sounded like a car crash. Never seen or heard a hit like that before or since. We thought he was dead.

This is "Exhibit A" for why I never liked peyton very much. The media hype surrounding him was so disgustingly over the top, however it was counterbalanced by him going 0-for-Florida. Not a big Brady fan either, but with every Super Bowl ring, ut fans have gotten quieter in the GOAT debates.

I was at that rain UT rain game as well. We ran across the street at halftime back to a fraternity and we’re slamming drinks, then came back for the 2nd half beat down. It was awesome.

I worked the rain game, UT side. In first half very busy, second half got real dead. I think we might have watched the whole fourth quarter in the stands due to lack of activity, or close to the whole 4th quarter.

I had way overdone it Friday night and was in such recovery mode Saturday that I couldn't even think about drinking anything for the game. Rookie move on my part. But in my defense, I was 15. First half was seriously tough to handle. The heat, the game flow, Rocky Top. Almost didn't "keep it together" several times and was miserable. That second half rain was such a relief not only for me but obviously for the game. The complete change in circumstances makes that game one of the most unique and memorable for me.
