I like what I see. The offensive line is playing lights out, the quarterback is not making mistakes, and even the defense showed flashes.
You have to go a ways back to find a Florida quarterback with better all-around numbers than EJ tonight. He did everything the coaches wanted of him. He made some good throws and ran the ball exceptionally well.
Carter and Diabate had solid games on defense.

Can't wait to review the film. Saw 3-4 times where EJ missed opportunities. I'm sure there are more. We could be scoring so much more.
On the pass long pass to Shorter(?). Shorter had corner beat by three yards but had to slow down for the pass. Had EJ led him it would have been a TD.
Another time when he went to the second level for a receiver he locked onto instead of dumping to wide open receiver over middle. Did that last week and maybe twice tonight.
Yeah he makes good plays but he misses so much.

I’m real proud of EJ. It had to be tough to go through all the negativity. He hung in there and continues to improve. Like this kid a lot.
Now having said that….AR will play next week and I suspect he will again demonstrate that he is the better QB.
Vols had 2 breakaway scores and not much otherwise.

If Dan wants to go with EJ then leaving him in to get the flow of the game is the right thing to do. Doing so got Dan figuring out what he could do and calling good plays for him in the second half.
If he goes out and comes back in, his deficiencies seem exaggerated and more likely to hurt us. He still misses reads and throws into coverage. But he can make play as a Dual threat if he’s in a comfort zone.
The defense was one overthrow and one dropped pass from putting us in a very dicey situation. Todd sucks and every decent or better team we will play will have a chance because he stinks. UT losing their center right when they were gashing us was a huge turn of events. They were establishing the run and his injury killed them.

We have lots of growing to do. But we’re owning people on the offensive line and showing gradual improvement elsewhere.
This game had Bama letdown written all over it, and for awhile in the first half we did look sluggish. We came out with more intensity after the half. I think the Whittemore option pass energized the team.

Why is Dan so in love with Todd? I don't get this. Granted, I lost total interest in the Gators last year, and just parachuted in late to today's game (for this year).....but I just don't get the Grantham love from DM. I've read it elsewhere, too. I think we can do better than a Georgia reject (particularly this one) for our DC. Someone help me out here.

We "only" gave up 14 but it should have been 0. Grantham lives off of shytty teams. I hate that dawgshyt.
