We have a few fans of the tough out coaches on here.

Fuentes was on the list before he was fired.

Matt Campbell was on the list too. So far he is 2-2 with losses to Baylor and Iowa on his way to his usual 8-4 or 7-5 season.

And of course, Minnesota just lost to some little league MAC team. PJ Fleck probably has to kiss all his players twice now. I wonder if there wont be some evidence left on his sweatervest too.

Gophers' embarrassing loss to Bowling Green was the sum of many 'single things'

31 point favorites.

Discuss how shttty these coaches are.

Looks like Hep at Tn. could become a tuff out with a little recruiting.

Did Jeff Brohm make the list, asking for a friend?
Once you tak a job at Nebraska, Purdue or Cowbell, you make the loser list.

Think Meyer would ha e even considered those jobs? Hell no.

I think Harsin just missed making the list this past Saturday when Georgia State had the Barn on the ropes late into the 4th quarter...

Harsin has never been on our "Next Coach List" from a few of the more clueless posters though.

Harsin is the kind of coach that....welll.....Barn hires.

Norvell could be a tough out coach. Stay with me on this after you stop laughing. A friend that I worked with, who was a Seminole player under Bowden, tells me that the “people that matter,” boosters, administrators, etc., believe that Norvell has “it.” That being what it takes to get the program not only turned around quickly, but dominating their conference and soon thereafter the college playoffs. All he has to do is get rid of the bad character guys and replace them with the 5* high caliber players that Bobby and Jimbo were able to get. They believe the wins will come, eventually. The troubles they are having is simply part of the purge. Sounds simple, right? Cutting to the chase, what this really tells me (and others, obviously) is that they have fuchs-upped the last two hires and there is no more money for a reset. The return from a fall from the top is never an easy climb. But keep spinning F$U…

Their organizational problems run deep likes ours do, but their money problems are absolute horrid. If they were a private company they would have already been liquidated.

Agree and disagree. Getting to the top is a lot easier than staying there for all teams.

I do believe f$u will return to prominence with the right coach. Whether NorviLLLL is that guy or not I don't know. The ND game, I know ND is over rated, but f$u teams of the past would have folded, showed some life. The defense was playing with fire, something they have not done in YEARS.

JSU was inexcusable.

Wake was understandable. Bobby lost to them 30-0 at HOME. Likely some voodoo going on there along with God having a sense of humor. Demon Deacons oxymoron team name along with Bobby "good Christian man" oxymoron thing going on.

They played somebody close this past weekend. Can't remember who and don't want to scroll all the way to the bottom of ESPN.com web page to look up the scores for the bottom dwellers.

Soooo, they are likely to beat someone this year they shouldn't but outside of losing to UMASS, there won't be any surprise losses this year.

He seems more like Manny Diaz's "smart" brother to me, but still a Diaz.

What is a "tough out " coach? Is it like a tough out in baseball where the batter keeps foulng the pitches off until he gets one he can put in play?

It is a ball control offense, defensive minded coach who goes 8-4 mostly but gets a lot of love from certain message board posters.
