The good guys are really playing well so far today, currently leading in 7 matches.

US set a record for points today. Pretty much a drubbing. Euros will have a bad taste for two years. Ryder Cup is a neat event. You get a lot more of the raw emotions and the home crowds are worth a few points as well. Funny thing, as much as there has seemed to be dislike for DeChambeau, it all vanished after he hit a 417 yard drive. From villain to hero with a swing of the driver.

How about the performance of Scottie Scheffler!?! Ryder Cup rookie going up against the #1 ranked player in the world and he wins the first 4 holes and then makes one clutch putt after another. Just one part of a fun day watching team USA

I think DeChambeau might have done a little something during the Ryder Cup to look a little less than a golf cyborg and more like one of the guys. Heck, I think he even shared a victory hug with Koepka. He’s fun to watch and is plenty competitive. Maybe he’ll also be a little more likable? Wouldn’t the Tour Championship have been even greater if there was a three way tie with him in the mix?

I really didnt care for Bryson throwing his driver manufacture sponsor under the bus like he did a few months ago and I also dont like how slow he plays. But he kinda won me over with the Ryder Cup. I was more team Brooks until the Ryder Cup but Brook's comments about the Ryder Cup and how he played kinda lost me.

Likewise for me. The Cobra equipment slam sounded like a spoiled brat. But he did some good repair work at Whistling Straits. I can’t say I ever cared much for Koepka, but whether he earns another spot on the team or not, I hope there’ll be another golfer excited for the opportunity in his place. He reminds me some of Tom Weiskopf. He would come off as kinda aloof and me-first. He had a great game, but his attitude kept him from being a favorite of the fans. I don’t know whether Koepka appreciates it or not, but he’s got great talent. It’s a shame his personna is not on that level.

As Brooks became a top 5 world player it seems like his ego got way too big. I remember a couple years ago someone made a comment about him being one of the best (can't remember the exact quote) and he had a very egotistic response that he was the best. At the time, he was one of the best but since then he is really been all talk. Another thing he did that really raised a flag was when he won the US Open, his girlfriend was so excited and he totally dissed her on camera. Its a small thing and I know I dont have the entire context of the situation, but I remember my wife and I watching, looked at each other and both said 'what a dbag' at the same time.

Plus, and this a big one, he’s gone and done that nekkid photo shoot. Obviously his game is now “ambidextrous” ;)

Brooks sort of summed up his overall attitude during the Ryder Cup when his partner in 4-ball(think it was the other Nole) had a bad lie and spot, asked Brooks how he would play it and Brooks simply said "how would you play it if this were a major?" The other guy said something which I didn't hear clearly, and then Brooks just said "well there's your answer" turned and walked away.

It wasn't really a surprise since he's even stated for awhile that he only gets pumped up for a tournament if it's a major and all the others are no biggie for him. Fine--he's had good runs in majors the past few years but to openly act like that is the only measuring stick, and while doing so giving advice his partner genuinely asked for--then turn away as if 'you didn't even need to ask me that'....screw him and his talent.

There's far too many others playing the game that act appreciative of the talent they have, and the opportunity to be doing what they're doing, as well as being class acts and simply nice guys for me to even remotely pull and enjoy Brooks game.

That was it...lol...what a complete dbag to do that to her if she went there to support him and cheer him on.

And I think there was a bit before that when she ran up and was very excited and happy for him. THat was the tail end of it when she finally was over him.

Just realized that is before his tee time at the pga champ and not after winning. I swear there was a moment after winning a major where he was a complete dbag to his girl who was trying to congratulate him.

Yep, typical Nole trash.

Bryson can be a bit aloof and make the occasional stupid comment, but he tries to engage and appreciate the fans. Koepka doesn't try, doesn't care and is a Class A douchnozzle. There should be NOBODY left on Team Brooks.

My son sent me this on Monday. Apparently, Bryson stole Sergio's parking sign and took it to the after party. That gave him brownie points with me as well.

I didn't like him. I don't like his swing. I don't like the fact that his smash and bash takes a big part of the game I knew away, I don't like the fact that he can be a tool. But I was sure as hell cheering for him during the Ryder. And he showed some personality that I hadn't seen except when he was on a show with Feherty. But I'm warming up. Old old old school meet new school.

Been working on a swing change. You gotta film yourself. If you don't you can never actually correct what's holding you back. I was letting my head and sternum shift forward. Got a ways to go but much, much better.
