I agree with this regarding the offense and Dan... it merely confirms, absolutely, that as a HC, he has risen to his level of incompetency and OC/position coach is his ceiling. I've mentioned it a bunch of times, Danny Enos is a childhood friend of mine, he has ZERO interest in ever being a HC again, mainly because he recognized that you are no longer a "coach," but rather a "CEO." He's happy to be an OC or QB/RB coach for the rest of his life, and by all appearances, he actually does seem to be 10x the "qb whisperer" compared to Mullenz.
That’s what we are missing. At best a president. But I’m not sure if Eddie ever promoted himself and I doubt anyone is coaching him.

Having said that about the defense, it may be the DC (assuming we really have one) is taking the Bill Russell approach to coaching. To paraphrase: these guys have so much talent I just roll the ball out and let 'em fly all over the court. Or something.

You know that's a really good point. In any enterprise considered valuable, people are identified early on and groomed for leadership roles. They don't get promoted to CEO by being the finest heavy equipment operator in the company. In sports (not just UF), the idea seems to be to find someone who is the best OC/DC or position coach and try him out at HC. That will always result in a high failure rate. Of course, its just sports and not costing anyone any money.

What I have gotten from the offensive films the last two games is that CDM calls a very good game, .
Thats what you got out of how simple it is to completely blow up Mullinz stupid fuchsing offense by playing 8 defenders on LOS in zone coverage w eyes in backfield?

QB coach maybe or TE coach is his ceiling.

He is at best a medicore OC with almost no ability to score should he make it to the redzone if he doesn't have an all decade player on the roster somehow.

He was THE weak link on Meyer's staff and the reason we almost lost a chance to play for the NC.

He has consistently had the wrong QB on the field and showed no clue what to do with a passing QB. He has been an OC since 2005 and has managed 4 good offenses and 12 bad underachieving ones.

In reality he got very lucky to GA with Urban Meyer. That is what his resume is, knows Meyer.

Film study? This is a film study:

Seriously I really really think the GNFP is the best way to review a past game. I don't alway agree with him, but I do think he has very good insight into what UF does.

"I would call you a vagina but I know a lot of ladies that could make that tackle". :lmao:

I did say "ceiling," not "floor"! ;)
