Sir Charles Weis. The only reason he got that job at Kansas is that they have a thing
for 350 pound guys. But I will say this, he accomplished something with the Jay Hawks
that I didn't think possible: He left them in worse shape than they were before he arrived!

All other things being equal, I'd think he's gone after UGA beats the tar out of us (possibly even blanks us). He's lost the fans, by some accounts he's lost the locker room, he has given appearances of wanting out, and the media has turned on him now as well. Somebody please point me to a single thing going right in the football program right now? That's reason enough to make a change.
However I have no faith that our current administration cares enough to do anything. I want to be wrong about that, and for that reason, I voted yes.

Only people in admin liked Chump. The press, fans and apparently the players hated him. Nobody did less with more than him.
Butters screwed the pooch with the death threat nonsense. He got turnt on so fast after that I still don't think he knows what happened.
It's more of a slow burn with MuLLLen since the LSU loss last year. The defensive struggles and the mismanagement at the end of the season could have been overcome. Problem is he just hasn't beaten anyone relevant since then. The chatter started after the Kentucky loss. This year's loss against a depleted LSU team and a lame duck coach was too much.
But yeah, he's pretty much a dick.

Nah I live in Gnv and if you listen to Russell or Vettel or any of the talk shows at the time, there were still dummies almost to the end that liked Muschamp. They would say Oh he's a good guy and he knows X's and O's. Its basically the same dumn **** you hear from all the dummies that defend every crap coach til the end. Its either like oh hey he's a good guy or The coach knows more than you or me. That's the one Old crank Russell still says to this day. Oh Hey Mullen knows more than you or me. Complete bullsh*t. Mullen is a moron. There's high school coaches I would put more trust in than him.

I fully admit CDM knows more about X’s and O’s than I do. But I do know that showing up to a press conference dressed like Darth Vader was stupid. I know that making Marco Wilson a captain a week after he was a major factor in losing to LSU was stupid. I know that not busting your ass constantly at recruiting in the SEC is stupid. I know that keeping Grantham around is stupid.
I could go on for quite a bit (we all could), but you get the point (and have probably made it quite a few/many times yourself). When all the guys like that have left “he knows more than you or me”, then it’s time to change the station.

Much as I would LOVE to have him gone this year, I highly doubt it will happen, absent some major scandal.
While the media has started to notice--and publicly highlight/call out his deficiencies, the minute it's done, you'll have a few contrarian voices that hate Florida and want to see us down (re: the Finebaums and Kennells of the world) who'll click their tongues and wag their fingers about how "unreasonable" Florida fans are, etc.
I suspect what'll happen is Grantham is the sacrificial lamb here and his azz gets kicked to the curb after the UGAy game. If we lose, it's a convenient time to fire him since everyone wants him gone anyway and it gives the deputy a chance to earn the job vs easily winnable opponents (Mizzou, South Carolina, Samford, and f$u). Even if we win, Grantham will still probably be fired at the end of the season because NO ONE outside of Mullen wants him here; and the AD is smart enough to realize the writing on the wall.
Mullen won't win more than 9 games in the regular season (assuming he beats UGAy by some miracle and has no other brain farts); and a year after only winning 8 games...the narrative will be that the team is getting worse and he'll officially be on the hot seat next year. He gets next year to turn it around with a new DC and--hopefully--AR as the QB. First two games are Utah and Kentucky at home...lose one of those two and I think he's canned at the end of next year since there will be no excuses left.
But to be clear: I would love for him to be fired next weekend and hope it happens.

Mullen HAS to be fired this year. Your gonna lose this years recruiting class anyway. Which isn't saying much. But if you wait until next year you also lose that class too. The question is do you do it after Georgia or after FSU. Of course you gotta fire Grantham at the same time. Has anybody fired the HC and DC mid season?
If Mullen isn't fired this year we also run the risk of losing AR who we desperately need. Maybe with a new coach he even hangs around for two more seasons.
