He was an O Line coach at Ga.

You are right though…, it’s a gamble either way but, IMO, we’ve had better luck with former head coaches. Which doesn’t have to be a coach with a Natty on his resume’.

Mac was a HC when we hired him…and miraculously, he still is today.
My point is, there are only two sure things and we aren’t getting either of them. I’d rather gamble on a younger, eager, bright, young mind than hire someone with a KNOWN 10-11 win ceiling. We have that right now and we’re miserable.
Whoever it is, they gotta be a recruiter first and foremost.
