Yeah, and Scot Loeffler made Tom Brady a mostly backup QB and 6th round draft pick.

Would Dak have even played if Tyler Russell didnt get hurt? Doubtful.

And Dak was a 3 star, with offers to Cowbell, LSU and Arky among others. Dak Prescott, 2011 Dual-threat quarterback - Rivals.com

Scot Loeffler put the foundation in place but you need to give Charlie Weis plenty of credit for turning Brady into the champion he is today.

Dak was actually a three quarter star but got an additional 1-star bump after he got his offer from Missy State. Call it the Mullen effect. Rivals & 247 do that-give kids a star bump-after the big name programs make an offer. Think Saban/Kirby/Dabo/Mullen.

From a good friend on another site...

First off, I’m just relaying info and I cannot confirm. I have a few friends that are Bulls and the talks of him being gone, are supposed to happen after the FSU game. That being said, boosters have almost already raised 10M of the buyout.

Also, which I’m surprised to hear, Kiffin being the next head coach is being talked about behind closed doors. Idk if he’s choice #1, but supposedly it has legs. Have a great day, humans
Kiffen is my 1st realistic choice, but there needs to be something in his contract that if he leaves his buyout is X amount (25 million) but if he's fired it's X amount (12 million). Dude does not stay places very long. I'd also put insensitive like top 5 recruiting class earns you an extra 1 million and 1 million for your assistants as well to split. I believe Kiffen could be a top recruiter with the right motivation.

I think Mullen would be an excellent head coach at Virginia Tech.....Just saying.
Va tech and hundreds of other schools have hired in the last 12 years and no one was ever interested in Douchebag Dan.

if he's a head coach again, it will be at a Directional School. He'd be smart to find a triple option team that's already used to the quarterback keeper game and may tolerate it. Unfortunately Georgia Southern just got filled. I'd say Georgia Tech is about his best option. Citadel maybe.

I can't imagine a service academy being interested in his wife trying to stick her tongue in every recruit and player.

Just no more dwag coaches on staff. That is all I ask. No more filthy, butt-licking, nasty, stinking, disgusting, flea-ridden, leg humping, castrated, UGly, grotesque, cancerous dwags. Sam Wyche famously said, "You don't live in Cleveland, you live in Cincinnati." Well, this is Gainesville, God's country. It isn't the garbage dump crap pile that is Athens.

After hiding for a bit, the pumpers are hitting the interweb thingy n force. All he needs is a strong DC!

Let’s ignore recruiting, special teams, individual position coaches, wtf. They are poorly coached across the board because Mullenz wants to hide in the Rat Cellar and draw up his perfect scheme to defraud versus driving the train. Smdh

Have faith, pops. They are just letting him step on landmine after landmine to make it clear they werent acting hastily.
Or, maybe trying to let him down easy. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen." That's hard to apply to this admin.
