I am no Kiffy cheerleader, but one year at Tinerc can't be called a flame out. You have no idea what would have happened there and neither do I. He left only b/c it was USCw, and that is fact. Had it been say UCLA, I think he stays at Tinerc. Fine, I give you the USCw thing. Enough time to evaluate, scored a lot of points, but had no D. But remember as I mentioned in another post, this guy goes from OC at USCw with unbelievable talent to HC of Raiders, to fired, to HC of Tinerc, to Head coach of USCw. It has been only since he took 2 steps back, went to learn under the best, that he has slowly become a HC. He still loves offense, but he has hired OC's at both FAU and Ole Piss and allowed them to coach, but I am sure he has input. He has shown a desire to become competent on defense. Now going for it on 4th down alot is questionable, but he plays in the SEC West. Kiffy did not set Tinerc back 20 years from his 1 year stint there. That list is very very long.

It’s the overt character flaws that cause me to despise him. He has a very sharp coaching mind. Not sure about his recruiting - just don’t know. But my guess is uneven. Used car salesmen do sell cars.

He didn’t flame out at Tennessee, FAU or Ole Miss. He went back to school under Saban, swallowed his pride and stepped down a level to get back to being a HC at FAU and had fun and success. Then stepped up to the SEC and has had fun and success. No scandals or penalties.
Who you got? Seems like all names being floated bring criticism from others.
