Good God. Our recruits would look over him, because he's literally a midget.

He's also an NFL guy and there isn't a chance in hell he's taking a college job.

Something else to consider. This is Stricknine’s last football hire. He blows this, he won’t get another shot. Would you put your career in the hands of Lame Kiffin? Stricknine may suck as an AD, but he isn’t that stupid.

Yes he is that STOOPID. Whether it is STOOPID to hire Kiffy or not is personal Opinion. Having hired Cousin Eddie was STOOPID from the start. Letting the WBB get out of hand was obscene. He should be shoveling dirt by now.

Let some other P5 program beta test the guy. I’d rather have someone with big-time hands-on experience.

You didn't answer BMF's question, what big time hands-on experience coach are you shooting for?

"oooh boy, born again Christian Lane Kiffin bringing along the nephew of Payt-uhn!"

Some of you guys drank a little too much of that fancy reserve hooch and need to sober up. If you're still talking like this after that you should turn your Gator cards in.

This is beginning to sound like 2017.

Late October: Tracking the UF plane to Manchester, a growing belief that we were about to shock the college football world by signing Chip Effing Kelly.

Early November: Having been shockingly spurned at the alter — well, we didn’t want this self-indulgent ass anyway, did we? — we turned our attention to Frost. Jeez, I hope he’s not a little miffed over the raging hard-on for Kelly. Wait. What? He’s not interested?!?!

Later that day: Please, anything but this.

It's been literally 25 or so hours since Mullen was officially fired. It's NOTHING like 2017.....(yet)

Two red flags on Napier.
David Waters had some SW Louisiana pundits on. They think Napier walks on water. But in praising him they said two things that are .
1) He is "fiercely loyal" to his staff and will want to bring them with him. So not only do we get a Sunbelt coach we get sunbelt assistants. Don't expect him to build a staff.
2) His #1 priority is job security. He talks about it a lot. So you've got a guy who is going to make safe choices. You know. Like run the clock out with 2 mins remaining in the half so that nothing bad happens.

Not that I'm a Napier guy, but you're extrapolating. Find on-tape example where he played it safe and ran out the clock at the end of the first half. And I don't care if they are Sunbelt assistants. If they can coach and recruit, I don't care if they are Jovian belt.

You mean besides the fact that he's old as hell and looks like a crusty, disheveled homeless bum? Or that there's literally NOTHING exciting about anything his teams do? Offense is as vanilla as blue bell ice cream?

Besides that?

Coastal Carolina

Coach is 44 years old
They average 40pts per game
They average over 400 yards per game
They run a two back offense that drives DC crazy 5,000 different formations
60%run 40%pass
They run the option, wishbone, T, RPO...Vanilla

Team him up with URG. He'll look much taller.
