Greg McElroy on Finebaum just threw UF and the School's Administration under the bus. He said somethings go on at Florida. It's no longer a Top 5 Coaching Destination.

LSU is a better program to win a NC.

He's usually full of compliments about us. Like when we were the worst fanbase ever for canning his toothy friend because he was such an awesome coach, and then everyone agreed with us and nobody hired him.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't get why we'd make fun of Napier. I recognize he is a run-first guy that maybe isn't exactly what we want on offense. But his W/L record is ridiculously good. His worst year(rookie season) he went 7-7. Between that and his reportedly demanding a staff commitment similar to what he saw at Alabama from his suitors last year, he seems to at least get it. Most of these coaches have a southern draw and don't sound particularly bright(because most aren't). But someone that's demanding and meticulous and is putting that into practice with success isn't a bad thing, imo. The comparisons to WM are wrong, imo, in that he has shown at multiple stops that he's not a head coach. He wouldn't be doing what BN is doing presently. In addition, Napier seems like he has an offensive identity and doesn't simply want to kill the clock and win each game 14-10.

Look under the hood at Napier and he sounds like Mullen. Job security and family are what drives him. At least he'll be closer to Disney World. He's fiercely loyal to assistants (sound familiar?). Wants to bring his staff with him. Plays seniority over talent. And on the trail he sounds more like Mullen. He's all about making recruits feel "comfortable." Again like Mullen. And he's a run-first guy. Nothing about him sounds like the hard charging, win at all costs, kill them on the recruiting trail guy we want.

Say what you want about Kiffen but at least he's never worked under butters for a year and then thought it was a good idea to leave Alabama and follow that fuchtard to Colorado State. Think about that for a second, you bastards are clamouring for a coach straight off the butters coaching tree. But hey, at least he doesn't like pussy or tweet mean stuff.

Not that I'm a Napier guy, but you're extrapolating. Find on-tape example where he played it safe and ran out the clock at the end of the first half. And I don't care if they are Sunbelt assistants. If they can coach and recruit, I don't care if they are Jovian belt.
Do they bother to keep Sunbelt games on tape?
I think we've had our fair share of sun-belt level assistants to know how that ends.

Yeah, I think we're perhaps dissecting that a little too much. Look, I get that we've been burned and are cynical at best. But Mullen, Muschamp nor McElwain are winning like that at a place like Louisiana. Remember how some here(self included) were trying to extrapolate DM's record at Msu by changing the location/talent variable to what it could be at UF. In a case like BN, you don't have to do that. If he went 31-5 over the 36 games here, we're probably pretty happy. And run-first, while not my first choice, is fine as long as it's not QB power all the time(Mullen) or this notion of completely changing our culture to something that we're not(WM).

As I've said, I don't know exactly what he'd do here, but I don't see the negatives that some have created in their minds.

Just my opinion and i could be totally wrong but I'm a Chadwell guy.

Why is Napier a prospect with 4 yrs coaching at one school and not Chadwell tearing it up at 3 different schools. His resume looks close to Urban's on the come up. This is a guy who can motivate young men to play hard at multiple schools and over time.

I really don't know who, but you need an elite recruiter or someone who has staff who are elite recruiters. Florida is a gold mine of talent, so somebody who is not going to let the top Florida guys go elsewhere.

Also, you need someone to convince AR to stay.

On here, you will always get a looney or some nasty comment about your Mom. And they wonder how we get coaches like Cousin Eddie and MacShark?
What in the name of Tammy Faye Bakker are you talking about, bible thumper?

You think coaches don't come to Florida because of sarcasm on Gator chatter?

you are freaking mentally ill.

All that may be true and I don't mind the southern draw at all (I grew up in south jawja) but I'll need to see pictures before I'll believe his childhood school bus had more than 4 seats.
Is this an inside joke I missed, or are the two of you retards, or is the answer all of the above?
