According to 247, OM's classes have average 26th over the last 4 years, compared to 18th(ut) and like 11th(Aub). There's a talent difference, but between his portal additions and being in year 2 vs year 1 for Harsin and the Hippo, it should balance out to some degree. Again, if it were just this year, I'm fine with it. It's his whole career at 3 stops.

To be clear, if he's the guy, I'm 100% on board. I have nothing against him. I'll give whoever a decent try.

Mullen graduated from New Hampshire which is a pretty good school. Kitten graduated from Fresno which was a second rate party school.
New Hampshire is a decent school, but Mullen never went there. He got his undergrad at Ursinus and his masters at Wagner.

There has been a pause. Napier is the front runner. Strong push materialized for Kiffen. Delayed the process or we might have already had the announcement. Believe it.
Part of this.
They are focused on Napier, but have not pulled the trigger.
No interest in Kiffin. "None."
They really like Fickell, but don't think he'll come here.
There is at least one person pushing for Clawsen, but he's not high enough up on the totem pole.

On a more positive note, when I asked my partner what her husband (he's on the recruiting staff) thought of firing Mullinz, he said the day after Mullinz was fired was the best day at work he's had in 3 years. Whoever mentioned the toxic environment was right, they couldn't stand the lazy bastard.

But where and what are those PhD's in? Also, an education teaches you to learn...it's not the only measurement of wisdom and/or intelligence.

Hint: Who determines ELITE?

Agree on this. The belief is Kiffen is going to Miami anyway. Napier is the front runner and all indications are he will be hired. I’ve always heard that Mullen was just an unlikable guy around the office and facilities. That was a well known fact.

Enlightening.

I was a Mullen fan in the beginning but his true colors re-appeared.

Side note: I knew a guy (Devout Christian)...MSU Alumnus...His son went to a Football Camp at MSU. He was so offended at something Mullen did, he gave up his season tickets, stopped his financial support, and his son went to a Div II School. When Mullen went to Florida he told me, "Y'all can have him. You'll see. He'll ruin your program"

I doubt any of our choices will be it. It happens every time...except SOS and Urban.

Who we NEED is another Charlie Pell to rebuild the Team, the Facilities, and the CULTURE.

What did he do?

He refused to tell me. I know he totally neglected the 2+ athletes and he tried real hard to "relate" to some of the upper tier players. And when my friend voiced his objection, Mullen went all MULLEN. HIS son was not the only one. And he was not the only parent to do so.

No, it was nothing so minor. He was a former Vet and understands the "world"...This was very different.

I heard that was the reason MULLEN left in the first place...UF Admin did not like him...He gets NASTY.

This is one of issues before the hire as well, most everyone in the building knew who they were getting before he was hired. This wasn't a surprise.

True, but I don't think we knew how toxic it had actually become until the team imploded over the past few weeks.

Update on the search: I was just told they haven't spoken with Napier or anyone else yet.
