I've read quiet a bit more about Napier and he as much as I don't really want to admit it, looks like he may be the best overall fit here at UF! This is just my opinion but he comes closest to ck'ing all the boxes without all the bullcrap that comes with people like Kiff or Cristalballs.
Not having power 5 HC experience seems to be his real downfall. But it is a small prob compared to some of the baggage that comes with alot of the other choices. You can hate this all you'd like and it's just my thing that everyone has but I don't think it would be a bad choice compared to the rest of our choices out there at this point!!
Mullen had power 5 experience…

I would think that after LSU's experience with him, Joe Brady would be their #1 target.

He left a New Orleans Saints gig to go to LSU as the passing game coordinator, which suggests that maybe he's willing to leave the NFL again to go back there as head coach.

On the other hand, I'm surprised I haven't seen Brady's name coming up in connection with the UM job, considering that he is a Miami native. He was a 4-year letterman as a WR at Everglades High before playing his college ball at William & Mary. His sister Jacey Brady was a Miami Dolphins cheerleader.

I suppose I could end the post right there, but instead I'll be a gratuitous like-whore and throw in a photo of the sister.

So who is your friend and how would he know anything on the inside? Threatening to be a Michigan fan? Hideous.
He doesn’t know anything inside. His grandfather is a long time bull gator though. He hears things.

If Napier is Karl Childers, who better to play Doyle Hargreaves than the potential crowd favorite Lane Kiffin. Smart @ss, mean drunk, rough with women. I’ll take Karl and his Kaiser blade fresh out of the nervous hospital. Besides, like Doyle, Lane don’t need no practice and we’ve got our own JT Walsh character in Law (Karl’s pal in the puzzle factory that liked “big bush”). At the current trajectory, the upcoming season gone be good! Lot of twists in this plot.

Ox changed the title of the thread? Did you get more bits of information you've decided to withhold from us peasants?
Not really, but if LSU did indeed hire the Baylor coach, I think it's pretty safe to say UF will land Napier.

I still think it's someone we haven't given any real consideration but we shall see.

Just watched Matt Moscona on YT, I would consider him in the know with LSU and has a couple of different channels covering all sports in Louisiana. He is also a friend of Jacob Hester. His video this morning said Napier to Florida is pretty much a done deal. From what he has been told, LSU doesn't fire Ed O and pay a $26 million buyout and bring in somebody like Napier, Stoops, etc. The big money boosters are demanding a big name hire (Riley) and nothing less.
