Can someone please explain to me how Jimbo can go 8-4 and reel in a top 3 class with two of the top three recruits? Unless they get a really good transfer QB in, they will 3 more games next year.

Winning and recruiting are two distinct skills.

Take a look at that fake punter who snuck into ATM video. Then compare it to all the video of Douchebag Dan being a douchebag.

Winning does not necessarily impact recruiting. You either can or can't sell. Jimbob can sell. You'd think his track record would catch up with him. Take out Winston as his starter and he averages 4 losses a year. He is the most overrated coach in college football.

Gotta imagine some of that NIL oil money is helping too!

4* RB Terrance Gibbs decommitted.
Injured. Hasnt played much in two years.

We cant waste a counter on him, sorry. This "commitment" from a kid who will never play was just camoflauge to try to make bumbling ass Knox look less incompetent.

God damnit sling blade.

This is good news. This kid hasn't played in two seasons and no one knows if he'll return to pre-injury form. He was a classic Mullen-Special. Good kid, but why take the risk? There's a few other RB's out there we could pull, including Etienne and Citizen.

crootin and winning are largely independent. crooters croot, even if they suck as coaches. how many freaking times do we have to have this convo?

Hey, I get it. But some of you act like we're Alabama or UGA and should be landing top 100 guys. We're officially reaching for the last pickle in the jar, dumpster diving, bottom feeding... I'll take a top 400 6'3 safety, gladly, after the dumpster fire Dan Mullen left behind.
Nothing against this kid at all. He may be solid idk anything abouthim. But who's giving these kids the green light?

I'm not sure if he has the green light (but he did de-commit from ND today and got several CB's to UF). Our current recruiting office is in communication w/ Napier's staff at ULL, they've exchanged notes, video's, and intel on current commits and kids they feel they could still land (low hanging fruit). So I imagine if they take a commit they'd have to get it green lighted by Napier's staff at ULL. I haven't seen anything about any of his ULL staff arriving in Gainesville yet. On that note - I wish he'd send some of his staffers that he plans to keep to Gainesville to get their feet on the ground.

Gibbs gets an income visit and decommits the next day. Impressive recruiting skills so far. Oh that's right, we didn't want the kid anyways.

he received an In Home visit Tuesday. Can’t confirm but I think it was Knox. Supposedly told that we will be pursuing other running backs.
