In all seriousness, WTF are we doing?

We’re going through a transition. Remember Meyer’s transition class?

Just 5 guys that helped at all, and that’s counting Kestahn Moore who was the staple 1.5 yards & hit the ground with authority.

There’s a long way to go yet with this class plus the portal, but if you wanted fundamental change it’s going to take time. I’d give him at least until Friday.

I haven't seen anything about Evers other than what's on the board here.
But didn't think about him being a QB that wants to be the only one in his class or the coaches wanting him to wait until Feb so they can evaluate them further before making a dicision on wanting them. It's all a guess right now, but are def thing's to think about.

I think it’s going to be a bit nutty between now and signing day I’m February. We have no idea what’s going on.

It's unrealistic to think with a coaching change there would not be some decommits. He's recruiting his ass off as we speak so I'm not worried if a couple of kids get all pouty because the new coaches vision requires they work and be held accountable, let them go

And CJ Smith decommitted after visiting Tennessee. If that kid can be swayed by the inbreds vision for him. We really don't need kids that stupid anyways. Enjoy winning an average of 7 games a year with none being to Florida.

Maybe Evers realized the class has been gutted of its best pass catchers, and he wants to go somewhere where he'll have bonafide WRs and TEs to throw the ball to. This basically came on the heels of Bond committing to Bama, and CJ Smith decommitting from the class.
I think it's pretty obvious Evers was told to either shop around or was told we wanna sign 2 qb's this cycle.

Just getting rid of the dead wood. Evers said that Billy shared his vision with him. I get the idea that the vision was not encouraging to Evers.

Evers jumping ship is Exhibit A on why you go for two QBs in a class.

CJ went to same school as Danny White’s kid in Orlando. Not shocked he ended up there but also realize he spent most of his senior season out with knee injury, either an ACL or MCL tear I think. If Napier didn’t even contact him there may be a reason. CJ also mentioned Mullen and BG in his decommit post. If Mullen staying was needed for CJ to stay committed then he never had a chance..

Maybe Evers is a pocket QB and doesn't want or can't run well which makes him not wanted by the new coaching staff. I know from watching ULL that they like a mobile QB and he may not fit that mold. He could be more like Trask or Franks and running is something he does only if he has to.
Even if you are too lazy to look, it would seem like the fact that he was committed to Dan Mullen who runs his quarterback more than just about anyone would make it obvious that he is a dual threat quarterback who is perfectly happy running the ball.

Do you guys think fewer kids will commit early this year? I’m not sure why many of them don’t just wait.

This is just the beginning…he said in his press conference we’d probably all get mad at him. We got 1 weekend of OV’s left before ESD….let’s see who shows up but I’m guessing very few. Gibson will probably jump ship soon and others that are committed but BN hasn’t contacted…I’d expect not to be in the class

I think alot of kids want to see who the new staff is. You have to think he's recruiting but he's not fully staffed he's riding in on a unicycle telling these kids trust me my Ferrari is in the shop.

I like this kid he's got good passing skills and run's well. He doesn't flinch when defenders are about to get him and still makes his throws plus scrambles outta the pocket and throws on the run well also. He runs better than Trask or Franks did which is good and seems to be pretty accurate with the ball. We would be in a good place if we got him to UF IMO.
