a couple things of note though. May mean nothing but these were guys we were recruiting.

these guys have not signed:

5* WR Evan Stewart - Committed to A&M when things fell apart

5* DE Shemar Stewart - He has been a huge A&M lean. We were briefly in the hunt months ago. Could be a Miami lean now.

4* Jacoby Matthew’s - Louisiana kid. Was expected to commit to LSU today but did not. Texas has kind of thrown a wrench into everything. But we were in the hunt several months ago. Maybe again with new DB coach.

Getting two Shemars would be epic.

I really like what this coaching staff has done the last few weeks. Keeping Wilson instate and landing James again is a big deal. I'm really excited to see how good these DBs could be as a group next few years. The defense overall could be good. I can't wait to hopefully see a defense that knows how to tackle again. The East isn't that great. We could possibly have a good year next year. Go Gators!

I was thinking that earlier while driving. Even during the Meyer years we seemed to have some major battle go against us, some random flip we weren’t expecting and often kind of a ho hum finish. Obviously different type of class all together, but today went as well as I think anyone could’ve expected. The other “battles” were completely overshadowed by wins with Wilson and Shemar. Near perfect day.
