I haven’t seen how this will work with or against the Gator Collective. Could you imagine this being the “official” one, promoted to boosters who aren’t on Twitter and suddenly had a greater infusion of capital?

We continue to enter the 21st century.

Discuss.

I just checked out the site as a business owner looking to participate and it looks pretty well done. They have everything laid out well and all kinds of personnel contacts in the admin. It looks legit for sure.

Okay so what do you guys think about this. How many coaches are going to be using a portion of their own exorbitant salaries to pay the players through NIL? I could easily use 6.5 million of my 7.5 million salary to get a truly elite team. Which I could obviously parlay into a larger/longer contract.

Well I was mocking this game at first and giving blowback for Stricklin accepting it. Now with a new coach, positive moves by said new coach and reading this thread about it now my bloods up. I definitely do not want to lose to UCF under any circumstances. I would like to see Kitna and/or Del Rio get some playing time to get a look at them. Anyway I want to win now.

Texas just signed one of the best olines in history after offering an NIL deal that pays each line men $50K/yr.

Sounds like a sound business plan. Seems like UF has a B school. I bet Bamma is doing the same type of thing except it's probably been fully vetted through dozens of attorneys. A&M may get themselves in trouble. As usual, UF will wait around until the barriers to entry include the death penalty ... THEN we'll jump in.
