Meh, I know the players loved the guy but he was our LB coach and while he was here I never saw any truly elite LB play until the bowl game and that stopped the minute Hopper got ejected. Notice Hopper mostly sat on the bench until Diabate decided to take the bowl game off. I also heard some pretty crappy rumors about CRob liking on twitter when players signed their LOIs to other schools and didn't like any of the announcements on twitter of the guys who signed LOIs with UF. That spells sour grapes to me and doesn't scream "classy exit" at all imo. Good riddance.

Who knows what kind of crap transpired here over the last 3-4 years....developing players was certainly not on the list of priorities. While we all want to hear how these coaches are loved by their players they also get paid a sh!tton of money to provide a quality product on the field and this one was one of the biggest failures at his assignment.

I'm glad (even for his own sake) that he showed some class, gratitude, and good character on his way out. Even if I overlook the grammar mistake in the second sentence, I agree with others who associate him with Grantham and with the lack of linebacker success (and even the lack of linebackers on the field!) during his tenure here. I have nothing personal against him, but I'm glad someone else will be coaching there next year.
