We aren't talking about solving a puzzle or developing a new technology. We are talking about performing a basic skill infinitely better than one's contemporaries.
But rather than discussing whether it's hypothetically possible through luck, clairvoyance, or extraordinary genius to find an entire team of overlooked players, let's talk specifically about our current coach as he's the guy whose evaluating we are interested in.
At ULL Napier was in a position where he couldn't bring in 5 star talent. His only option there was to bring in overlooked players if he wanted to build an elite team. Reality is that he did not. His team won his conference (while having the best star ratings in the conference), but in his only game against a P5 team with higher rated players (an awful Texas team that finished the season 5-7) he got crushed.
The good news is that at Florida he's pursuing and bringing in highly regarded recruits. Not dumpster diving for "overlooked" players out of laziness.

He only needs to secure "some talent" for 2022...We could have won 10 games with a little discipline. UF does not want to settle for 10 wins...We want ATL and then the Play-Offs...Go big or go home.
But like you stated we are now going after 5* and 4* with a vengeance...We have not seen this for years...This give me hope.

Dating is like recruiting: if you pay attention to the “players with leas talent” early on, they are more likely to commit on signing day when other teams try to steal them.
Pay the ugly chick attention right when you see her. At 2 AM she’s more likely “to commit” when other guys realize she’s good enough and try to steal your “recruit”
Sage advice in recruiting or hopping in the sack: Hedge your bets, “Go Big, Go Early.”

Yeah, youve been doing it wrong big haus. You pay attention to the homely one of the 3 or 4 friends so that the others think you are sweet, sensitive and not superficial. This gets them noticing and liking you so its easier to bed them later on. You dont pay attention to the fatty so you can end up with her.
As for recruiting, when exactly are you planning on paying attention to the 5* b/c if your plan is to bed the 3* like it is the homely girl, again, you're doing it.... wrong...

Be nice to the 3* and 3+*-...focus on the 4*...Always give the 5* some attention...you have to...but don't kiss arse...this keeps them honest.
Same with women...who wants High Maintenance? You want the 3+ - 4* who want to be there...that 5* will hit the portal as soon as a better deal comes along.

I think its safe to say they are 4 stars possibly 5 stars now. Considering how they've graded out and been previously coached

My wife is exactly what I want and need....But I was dumb the first time...she is on her 6th husband (I was 1st)
Which brings me to another point...Who's doing the Grading?
Same thing with recruiting...5* Deva...sometimes just ain't worth it.
