Remember before the season started.? White was gonna make this transfer portal team and shock the SEC.?
Real letdown. These guys are lost. Mike White is doing nothing in practices.

Mike White’s specialty is defense….and our defense is atrocious.

It’s time.

Unlike mid-major Mike, Oates isn't afraid to allow his team to make a layup with the lead and the shot clock off.

Its bad that im not the least bit upset. Apathy has fully set in with gator basketball. I expect them to wilt against any tough team. Got my hopes up early, but white quickly reminded us who he is

For far too many games, far too many seasons Mike White has coached players into being flops as a team.
White has destroyed any development of Gator fan loyalty. He has taken an egg-beater to our UF basketball program. That's a villain in my book. Replace him with a coach that has the ability to coach players forward, to advance winning skills & teamwork for a successful college experience as "fighting Gators". White is a tumor pumping out toxins and must be gone asap. White's basketball brain does not work or it works wrongly. So White is killing Gator basketball. Someone new will surely do better.

Yeah same ole thing and looking like a 17-15 type season again. Strick with the itchy trigger finger like with Mullen so finally MW's time has come to an end hopefully.

I read the summary posted by Chris Harry. Everyone said, "we didn't play hard enough in the 2nd half."

That is bad coaching. Plain and Simple.

Two quick thoughts:
I’ve noticed over the last 2-3 years as the program continues it’s decline that the “Billy Donovan Court” logo has gotten larger and larger each year.

The UAA should consider shrinking it if not eliminating it all together if they insist on keeping this clown coach. Seeing Billy’s name is a constant reminder of how far the program has fallen not to mention the potential for Donovan to request it’s removal to avoid any further slander to his name.

Second, as recently as a year ago there were still people (not compromised sports writers) that were still finding a way to defend CMW, are any of you still out there or have even you accepted reality?

I wish I could agree with you but unfortunately I believe that the team will do what they do every year which is win just enough to sneak into the tournament as an 11 seed and bow out the first weekend.

The UAA and Scottie will praise CMW for making the tournament again as if to suggest that making the tournament field is the metric for success. Simply making the tournament is the equivalent to playing in the Gasparilla Bowl and we fire football coaches for that performance.

These people have mastered double talk and delusional thinking which enables them to continue to avoid a growing problem.

Last night was a perfect example of how we have declined. The game played out just like nearly every Alabama game in the past with the only change being that the two teams traded places. We used to be the team that overcame a deficit on the road to take control. Now we wilt time and time again and allow the good teams to prevail.

The worst part is that I see no changes in the near future.

Maybe it's over Strickland's head? Maybe he doesn't feel like working harder because the program is self sustaining revenue-wise- not losing money. Hoops operates on a slimmer margin, even though it makes money. Strickland would tell you they evaluate the programs daily. If true, and unless he actually is beyond repair, he must know White is not a winner. So, how long does it go on, until his hand is forced? It's the same thing he did with Mullen, waiting until the program was all but dead.
