@PeteThamel: USC's Jaxson Dart has entered the NCAA transfer portal. He immediately becomes one of the top quarterback talents in the portal. He was a @Rivals No. 5 dual threat QB coming out of high school last year.

This is kinda surprising. With Slovis leaving, I figured Dart must’ve been Riley’s guy, and expected him to have a pretty big year. I guess Riley is making plans with another QB instead.
Dart is a gamer, but he’s also pretty fragile.

Seeing crystal balls for Mario Williams (the freshman WR originally from Plant City) to transfer from OK to USC, which leads me to believe QB Caleb Williams is not far behind. Clearly Dart saw the writing on the wall. Hopefully, he doesn't decide to go back to Utah and play for the Utes.

I was wondering about Jones earlier. I looked around a bit and found this:

The NFL deadline to declare for the draft is 17 January. Could Jones be seeking an opnion from the College Advisory Committee (CAC) about his draft status? I am guessing that Elam declaring today means he very recently received his evaluation from the CAC. Or I guess Jones just could have decided to stay at UF at least through spring practice.
