I agree with much of your post; but focusing on this part--because while I also agree that it's unlikely this clown will be kicked off the team...White *has* to impart some punishment to the player here.

At the end of the day, White's job is to be the face for Florida basketball--and if you have a player undermining that job and drawing negative attention to the program, then consequences need to be had. Make the bastard run wind sprints until he pukes and/or bench him. If a reporter asks him about it (which they should), then he needs to say "I'm aware of the video and have disciplined the player internally." Not that White has much of any credibility with FL fans at this point, but he still needs to try to at least pretend to do his job and this is a pretty clear example of how and when to step in.

There should be no punishment. What should happen is Fleming should do is apologize to the UF fanbase. He will likely have an apology on twitter by tonight.

He caused negative attention to the program, at a minimum. Don't need to shoot the guy in front of the O'Dome, but extra conditioning or some other internal punishment seems appropriate in addition to an apology.

I think what should be concerning is that Fleming actively made a point to poke his finger in the eye of the Gator fanbase. That's what is troubling for me. He didn't just go to a sports bar with UGAy shyt on to watch the game of make a post on twitter to show his approval. NO...this fuqing douche got out on twitter carrying on like any other ball licking Ugay fan to rub it in our faces. If he blow his ACL out I'll feel bad for him, for about 2 seconds.

Send him back to Athens imo and I don't even pay attention to BBall really unless we make it to the dance. Then I'll watch us lose in the first round and wonder why I bothered again...

If I was a private employer and had an employee publicly celebrate our biggest competitor winning a contract over us or bringing a product to market first while wearing clothing representing the competitor, then doubling down by taunting my company and employees and threatening to do it to them in person first chance he gets, he would be fired immediately.

This is an athlete on scholarship from UF playing in front of paying fans and students he is openly mocking, not just cheering for their biggest rival. If he did it in private so be it, it’s annoying but life.

This dumbass has violated a basic tenant of being paid to go to UF (and he is paid). Notice he also mentioned Myron being there with him.

If I was a d-wag booster, I’d give this a$$ an NIL deal. That tells you all you need to know if your rival would sponsor your player.
