Seems like the NFL is starting to mimic the NBA, MLB and NHL on the revolving door of coaching turnover.

but then again... I'm a Steelers fan and we've only had three head coaches since 1969.

That is one of the most insane stats in all of professional sports. They know how to ID coaches to fit a culture and keep them.

As a Packers fan, I feel bad for some teams because GB has had 2 starting QBs since 1992.

As a Redskins fan, I can think of several different months since 1992 where they had more than 2 different starting QBs.

We’re talking NFL. There’s not a team called Redskins in the NFL.

Guntekunst or whatever his stupid name is, is a fool.
yea the trade up for love thing was dumb, IMO. But do you really think that would have happened had Lafluer not been invovled or at least supportive? I dont. The coaches are heavily consulted b/c the players need to fit their schemes.

Im not on the guntkunst is an idiot train and frankly I think anyone with a semi functioning brain is better than ted thompson. Im in the middle. Front office has made some mistakes, but things are absolutely improving and much better than they have been in a LONG time. And Rodgers is no innocent party either. He's a diva and thinks he should be more involved in decisions than he should. His offseason antics last year were embarrasing and not becoming of a packer org that is about team, not individual. Maybe if he had a few super bowl rings, but every time he gets to the NFC title game he chokes like a whore. He was 100% responsible for last year's loss. I mean the defense picked off brady 4 freaking times, what else can you do? My position is win it on the field, then you can start talking about who the front office should be drafting/signing. And some of his fits about getting rid of cobb and jordy? Well sorry but those were the right decisions. They are old and not real productive. Cobb was ok coming back but hes old and hes been long term IRR b/c of it. They could have had a more productive player instead of him. So yea, rodgers demands to have personnel input doesn't move the needle for me at all. Hes got more than enough tools and support to win a championship this year. If he doesn't, its on him, no one else.

This guy got screwed.

@AdamSchefter: Texans fired HC David Culley, as NFL Network and Houston Chronicle also reported.

Lol wow.

@AdamSchefter: Raiders still have HC Rich Bisaccia and GM Mike Mayock in place, but it hasn’t stopped Las Vegas from looking.

Raiders requested permission to interview Patriots ILB coach Jerod Mayo for HC and Patriots director of player personnel Dave Ziegler for their GM job, per source.
