Ending you point looking for affirmation speaks of lack of intellect.
That’s a rather long jump to a conclusion. Maybe an annoying verbal tick to you, but to equate it to “lack of intellect” sounds quite petty.

Right?I never would have noticed the "right" thing when he speaks if it wasn't pointed out by people that find it totally maddening for some strange reason.
Shart is living proof that if you recruit well enough and hire an excellent staff, you don’t even have to be that good at “game day management” to win a Natty.
And yet…If his biggest speaking sin is ending sentences with ,"right", its a 1000 fold improvement over our past coaches. So far I like everything about the guy
He said EJ is excited about his move to slot....so, what did the man say?
... the slot between 3/4 and the end of the bench. He said EJ is excited about his move to slot....
I mentioned this about him in his previous pressers. It’s probably the only negative I can find about him up to this point. It’s annoying as schit. I used to work with someone who did the same thing. Ending you point looking for affirmation speaks of lack of intellect. I’m not saying CBN isn’t smart, because he obviously is and approaching this job the right way, but he has built a habit of saying, “right?” That needs to be broken.
That's total BS. Talking about crap you know nothing about speaks to a lack of intellect. It's usually a nervous verbal tic that's a learned behavior. And if anything, seeking affirmation in such a way speaks to either a lack of confidence in himself or who he is talking to.
Gotta disagree, this one is a deal breaker.Saban says "aight" so much that it's been mocked on SEC Nation. I don't see any reason to sound the alarms. At least BN is resorting to proper English.
I wish I could have given this a like and a funny..Saying "right" at the end of his sentence is his way of making sure people who aren't as smart as him understand what he's saying. He's a coach; he deals with this constantly. When he does pressers he's surrounded by sports reporters, right? I think everyone who's ever had the pleasure of hearing Edgar talk/ask a question knows where I'm going with this, right?
Cant argue with you there. But I've had enough of frustrating Gator games. I want some game management too.

I’ve noticed this on many speakers. Rarely are they seeking actual affirmation. It’s usually a bad habit from an earlier time when they were more uncomfortable speaking publicly. Others say uhh or um frequently. As someone else pointed out it is also seen in coaches who are seeking acknowledgment rather than affirmation.
