FSU with 17 3-stars is very Mac-Mullenesque.
How can they be ranked ahead of us? Don’t they take your top 20? Or is that rivals.

It's kinda stupid. Their rankings just combine the rating of every player. More players, higher ranking sometimes. That's what Tennessee did under Butch Jones.

I’m not sure I agree with the notion of portal transfers being ranked as part of a class(I’m also just resistant to change, so probably that). But either way, the noles will almost assuredly have a higher rated recruiting class this year than us,
namely because of volume as you and Phan pointed out. But I’d also venture to say that will probably be the last time they have that claim for a long, long time. They are staring down two major upgrades in Gville and CG that will place them at third best for the foreseeable future. Norvel failing to cash in on turmoil is almost as bad as Mullen’s. That window was briefly open and is now closed.

O. Torrence is an interesting get. If he is as good as advertised, he will likely be at UF for one year. Given that everyone tells me UF will be mediocre this fall, I can't get too excited about a one year guy.
If he is not as good as advertised, is he Reese level? Also really this comes down to does the UL OL play transfer to the SEC and were the UL OL a matter of coaching once the 3 stars got there or was that staff better at identifying 3 star OL recruits who could be really good at UL? I am hoping that this OL staff is really good at coaching up OL.
