Laughing my a** off listening to sports talk radio up here in Winder, Ga.
Seems Bennett hasn't decided to come back or enter the draft.
All the butt sniffers have their adidas in a wad of who is going to be the guy if he departs...
(Take the money and run kid) would be the smart play IMHO

Go gators...:jog:

He may get a try-out in the NFL, but unless he has some Flutie in him, he will be cut long before week one. Not a knock on him as a college QB, but he is no way a pro QB. I think he knows that, and is deciding if he wants to be selfish for himself and come back or help the dawgs out and leave. Him staying complicates Georgia's QB outlook for the future in a big way, the way players hit the portal if not playing.

He can always transfer back down to junior college again. That or sticking with Kirby another year is the only way he's playing football again in his lifetime.

Wow. His GMA interview is so dour and he said he’ll “see if he can trust the decisions of the staff at Georgia” before deciding where he will play next year. That’s not exactly Tebow-esque is it? He seems pretty irritable about the whole deal.

But if he comes back, he could get beaten out and regardless, there’s little hope of repeating. So do you transfer for a guarantee of starting? And this from a lifelong UGA fan?

But dang - he ought to be a little happier.

has he used the Covid-shirt year yet? That is allowing some to hang around campus for 6 years.

Agree - he has to come back but if he is not given the job, he wants to go elsewhere and play. His future is in coaching, not playing.

This. He got his 15 minutes by not totally screwing up the championship game and in return got a lot of press and a ring. Now, make money, get a better degree and don't get delusions of grandeur.
