Not very smart....I got an idea lets wait until we win a few games before spouting off on the "twitta"....
Dex calling out Mullen, you found fault. That's evidence of potential dick riding. It's kinda like you didn't bang the fat chick but you did buy her drink.

Speaking simply from a professional point of view. This guy is one of the most talented returning players we have and more than likely he will be very draftable after a couple of seasons. Believe it or not the NFL hires dumbass coaches/coordinators on occasion and they in turn look to "buddies" for inside info on players....see where this is going? And it's usually organizations like the Jags who also hold high draft picks year after year.....He simply should have made a statement about how good the new coaches are.

I've done a lot of hiring over the last 20+ years. And when a prospective or new employee throws their old boss or company under the buss, ref flags go up. The criticisms may be completely factual but not a good look. Somebody obviously advised him to take his tweet down.

PS: I hate agreeing with Crete, makes me want to go take a shower.

Good point. I mean look at the girls BB team. They should have kept their mouths shut about the abusive nature of their former coach and what a douchebag he was. Now look at their season? And I am sure all those WNBA coaches are appalled that they would call out a coach for being douche nozzle A-hole. BN is probably scratching his head at what a shyt show he inherited from not one but 3 fuqing millionaires on our dime that basically kick in the door, ate all the food out of the fridge, took a cleveland steamer on the programs chest and walked out with millions.

Quick question: Which team do you see Mullen or fat todd on staff with next year?

As others have pointed out it probably is a long shot that any of the former ass clown coaches will be in a position to effect him but like you said it's still not something that looks real good. It show a lack of thought/emotion control which has had very negative effects on Gator players and even cost or negatively impacted games like our LB getting caught throwing a punch in the bowl loss, or another nitwit throwing a shoe....I guess selfish comes to mind.

BTW your old lady didn't mind taking a shower with me....

To be fair, you do normally have to pay extra for a Cleveland Steamer.

I'll bet you BN cares.
And I'm glad CBN cares because these young men need mentoring.

My comments were geared towards the "this could affect his draft status" concerns, which i think is a giant nothingburger unless Dexter's interviews go poorly. Despite a pattern of behavior full of red flags, the Bucs took shameos w in the 1st round and we're sweating a couple of tweets? There are plenty of headcases in the nfl and I doubt Dexter will even be classified as one.

Agreed

These days you can’t apply the rules for the rest of the world to athletes. It wouldn’t take one very long to identify things that many amateur (assuming there is such a thing) and professional athletes do that would negatively impact the employment status of the rest of us.
Dex can say whatever he wants about nearly anyone he wants and still be drafted in the first round if he plays well.

Gervon has said plenty of things since December throwing shade at the previous staff. The “Mullen deserved another year” crowd is shockingly silent on it

I have no problem with players holding coaches to high standard. Sounds like he thinks Mullenz sucks. If a coach asked me about the comment, I would tell him if he is going to be my coach, he will be held to the same standard I hold myself to and if he doesn't measure up, I will call him out.

Seems strange as a former coach myself to have a high standard for a player when you are consistently slacking off.
