Right now I’m curious about Phase 2: Identity.

I’m curious about the methods employed to instill “fanatical effort” - and how they will prove superior to the “relentless effort” methods of prior staffs. How do they compare with Meyer’s emphasis on “toughness”? Their success level will greatly impact the effectiveness of spring practice.

We won’t know until we see game day results against the big boys, but that’s where my attention is today - on pace with the process.

New staff, new system in all three phases of the game. Every player is basically a newbie. I suspect spring will be a lot of install, lot of fundamentals tons of blocking, tackling, route running, extreme discipline so maybe we can remember snap count, Probably a handful of scrimmages toward the end of the 20 days. I'm not expecting to learn much. I doubt we will have much insight on who will be lining up to start the opening game as everyone deserves an opportunity to impress the coaches. That is a lot of rotations.

DGAF. Over a decade now of "We had great a week of practice" BULLSHYT only to see some of the crummiest quality of play any of us has ever seen. Saturday's in the fall is what matters, not some horseshyt day 4 of spring practice.
It all started with:

"Brantley is making all the throws"

Just swing this thread. When does this spring practice actually start? Is there a specific day or time window from here? Thanks.

I don't think he will be here after Spring. He will wait to see who needs a QB after spring practice and he will transfer. The question is will it be AR or Jack Miller...
I'd be surprised if AR is not the starter.

A healthy AR all day.

I don't believe he was really hurt as much as Dunce Mullen claimed he was.

March 15 start date with Orange blue game Apr 16
The Florida Gators are gearing up for new head coach Billy Napier’s first season at the helm. Now, Florida has an official date set for the start of spring football practice. According to GatorsOnline’s Nick de la Torre, that date is March 15.

For spring workouts, camp will take place for 34 days, with 20 available hours per week. Players are required to have one day off per week. Per de la Torre, Florida will have 15 practices, with only 12 able to be in full pads.

“We want them to take it on, right, we want them to embrace it, and we’re trying to build the momentum toward spring practice,” Napier said, via de la Torre. “We start position meetings today, right. It’s part of it. You know, each one of these 15 days we’ll have a position meeting, and we’ll start implementing some football into what we do. It’s kind of part of that transition into spring practice, which will start March the 15th. So yeah, definitely part of it.”
