I truly think Saban has increased the level of competition amongst his SEC "peers" and the perennial national contenders like Ohio State and Clemson to a point that he's been taking some L's over the past 3-4 years and the L's will lead him to the conclusion that it's time to hang up his whistle. We've also heard Saban say that when he feels like he has nothing left to contribute or he feels like he's in the way of Alabama's progress that he'll step aside. Well, his age plus the reasons laid out already plus the constant coaching carousel are why I believe this next year is to be considered a litmus test for Saban...should they NOT make it to the SEC game or to the National Title game then I say he calls it quits. However, if they have a banner year then he stays one more season.

(edit: Scratch that, I think we're looking at Saban's last year in '22. Whether he loses a few OR wins it all, I think he's done.)

Little Satan thinks outside the box, he hires these bozos as analysts so stupid AD's think that the bozo must be good because Saban hired him, or that he learned "the system" while with Saban. Which is what Saban wants them to think, so they get hired by another team in the SEC and continues to make life easy for Saban.
