I think a guy like him fits in well in a city like San Fransisco obviously, but no way he is going to make it in the deep south and as part of the SEC. This is still the bible belt, and this kind of PC hire will not sit well for those who disapprove of his lifestyle. If he gets more photos taken of himself like the ones he took in San Fransisco with him and his domestic partner, we will be the laughing stock of the league:

Pretty impressed with his pressor actually. Those things are usually hard to get through (think Numbnuts' pressors) but he keeps you interested with his passion and he definitely seems brighter than your average BB coach. My main worries are still the same though, and that's how is he going to recruit well enough to compete at the top of the league. Maybe he will find a way through the portal, recruiting, and internationally. He's correct in pointing out the SEC is behind many of the other leagues in bringing in international players. If he really has connections that will allow him to pick some of the top talent that can only be a good thing.
