I have supreme confidence in Golden. Honestly feel more confident in him than Napier and I am a fan of Napier (his offense has me worried tbh)

Those Gators-in-quandary were just awarded their very best teammate = very best determination driver. I think Golden can use Castleton as a powerful on-court coach. Castleton will improve his NBA chances, IMO our '23 season fun just got enhanced immensely. Did a golden tongue have a hand at this.? We need to know, so we can use that formula again & again.

HUGE F ing GET for The Golden Boy to keep Castleton here at UF. He talked exclusively with Colin and his family to get him to come back to UF. The roster is really filling out with huge needs.

Now with Castleton & Reeves, 1st-year coach Golden just needs to add 2-3 newcomers who love to play and these '23 Gators may contend.?
Please add a speed-demon point guard and a fierce rebounder to help out Castleton so we can contend in power basketball. Gotta re-educate everybody in unhesitant crisp passing and staying together in that flow. I'd like to see us better at getting the ball safely inside by going over the top - timing and teammate awareness is key. Train'em that way.
And for everybody's sake, (esp. mine) drill them on smart, quick decisive inbound passing.??

That's 12 on scholarship, leaving only 1 remaining. However, we need a PG and another big man.
Too many shooting guards. IMO, Jones needs to be shown the door to make room for an additional transfer at a position of need.
Need that PG from Bradley (Terry Roberts) first and foremost, then look at bringing in another big.

Golden is doing some serious work. He's young, but maybe he can relate to the young guys better.

Agreed about Jones. He was terrible, just terrible. Would you take Applebees back? Seems like he jumped the gun entering the transfer portal. I guess he banged too many Co-eds, and it's time to fish other ponds? If we don't even have a true PG on the roster, why'd he leave his starting job? Heck, I'm not a big fan of the little guy's game (except for his massive heart) but I'd take him back with open arms right now. We're a PG away from having a tournament worthy roster.

I like Appleby (and his passion), but I suspect he's not an ideal PG for Golden's system. Too many TOs and WTF moments to overcome his quickness and streakiness. He probably saw the writing on the wall, like Jones should.
