best thing to happen to probably every player on the team, especially the defense, they would regress under fat todd. although he was fired in an attempt to save mullet's job,

He actually was contemplating leaving after the entire Mullen thing. He went and told Napier. Napier had to convince him to stay.

I’d say Napier won his first recruiting battle handedly.

Here is the most interesting part of the article to me. A lot of people have always thought that Mullen was super awkward socially. This kind of talks to it IMO. It’s really weird that we got two strange people as coaches back to back.

(about Napier) When he’s joking around sometimes you can tell he’s genuine and it’s not trying to be forced. He’s trying to connect with people and trying to understand people.

Wait to see that Napier and Golden turn out to be at least less confounding less confusing coaches. Their results will be sensible and more successful because their players will understand their goals, IMO.

I think if Napier turns out to be as good as advertised, it won't matter how the B-ball coach does. Football is king by a mile.
