What’s your favorite TV game show or one that you would want to appear on?

The Newlywed Game was always entertaining. It was a given that Bob Eubanks was going to ask a question that referenced “Whoopee,” which was much anticipated by adolescents lucky enough to get to watch (usually if you were home sick from school or at Grandma’s during a holiday break). The greatest moment of all was when Bob asked the contestants “Where was the most unusual place they had made ‘Whoopee?’” One gal answered “In the *ss!” I always wondered how soon after the taping that the couple divorced.

As a kid, there was something about those tiles that’s the contestants on Scrabble would put in to that slot. So I’d probably go that.

I feel like I’d do well on Wheel and Jeopardy also. PIR with Barker just for nostalgia and to drop a
$1 on some fat Tammy.

Oh, look who suddenly shows up with a “Tuesday’s Favorite” thread. So transparent.

As an 80's kid you have some classics that are still going. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy are still must watch TV at my in-laws. Price is Right was the home from school comfort show.

Still can't believe Double Dare never came to my small town and used to get so pissed off at the little twats that couldn't throw the ball in a bucket from 2 feet on the Bozo the Clown show. It was like they picked the worst kid on purpose. Also remember watching the original Supermarket Sweep yelling at people to get the hams.

I loved Concentration as a kid. Shoulda done Jeopardy during college week when I was at UF... I was an absolute mountain of useless facts/trivia back then, now I have trouble remembering if I schit or did Wordle today.

Wordle, ugh.
We have a family competition. I got yesterday’s “heist” in two tries because I assumed they were passive aggressively describing Musk’s takeover of Twitter!

Loved that show. And couldn’t agree more. The moment some kid missed on like the first three buckets, I would lose it. It was usually due to just piss poor effort and rushing. I wanted to be on that show so badly, and yet these kids get a chance of a lifetime and just casually go through the motions. Infuriating.

Never been a big game show fan, but I have to say that Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL was far better than East Hollywood Squares on In Living Color.
