Maheo, you create another question, born from my ignorance, of course = Would not the sponsors knowing a player won't start, lower his NIL worth, offer.? i.e. going where he will get the most playing time would enhance his NIL use and compensation, it seems.??
I hope we get Broome. I like the idea that his family & old friends will be in the stands cheering him on.
I don't follow Auburn basketball. Over there, they view themselves as one of the elite programs in the country. You know how it goes. Fans are all excited over a player. He is perfect for the team. Suddenly, it looks like they might not get him so it becomes, "Well, he isn't really that good." Or, "We didn't want him any way." It is fans being fans. We still don't know if we really landed Broome or not. I'm just relating what is being said. Sometimes they are right. Sometimes they are wrong.
