FWIW Here’s what Bryant said about Bammer…

“It’s Alabama. They win games. It’s a great program, of course. But they really take care of their players. They have programs off the field to hold their players accountable. They really care about them more than how they can produce on the field. I really like that.”

and scUM…

“It’s kind of similar to Florida with a new staff…I feel like coach Cristobal knows what he’s doing with Miami, with the recruiting process. I don’t know if it will be this year or next, but I know Miami will be on the uprise and I want to get my hands on some of that. Coach played there, coached there and came back to coach.

That’s where he’s destined to be and I know how much he cares about his players. And how they’re helping with NIL stuff, that stuck out to me as well.”

I think we're going to make strides but not get all the way where some of you think we should be. Heck, it's where we all think we should be, but we got too much ground to make up. Plus, BN, isn't going to deviate from the plan....good or bad, right or wrong...it's just gonna have to play out.
So,...some of you.....you know who you are...don't drive the rest of us crazy with your insecurities when it plays out this way, ok?

Enough of this forehead talk, let’s move on…

LB Malik Bryant Predicts Championships for Florida Gators, Talks Visit Plans | Sports Illustrated Florida Gators News, Analysis and More

"Oh, I enjoy Florida. They made me definitely feel at home," Bryant told AllGators after practice. "Because, you know, it's been a lot of changes since coach [Dan] Mullen. So, just getting experience, getting around the new staff and being able to enjoy them. I felt at home since I went there."
He constantly ran away from home. He hates his home.

Texas hasn’t had much since Vince Young and he wasn’t developed, just crazy talented. But would you expect the prospects to look at the current staff? If I were looking at Sark, I’d see the stacked resume but wonder about his stability given his prior implosion.

I’m not a Kiffin fan and wouldn’t trust him either.

So if your point was to show me that our chances are better than it may appear on the surface, well done.

No idea how NIL will influence this for or against UF, but I do believe our coaches are making a superb effort to reverse the trend of the last 10 years.

Nah...I dont think we get him :D

Wasn't necessarily disagreeing with you about not having a known commodity coaching up the QBs but rather applying the same thought across the board of the schools he is entertaining. We are placing a huge emphasis on the OL so that should help offset your point.

I am loving the OL emphasis, an area we have been short and on which offensive success is dependent. If size matters (and it does) we are on track. Now, can we coach ‘em up?

With a good OL, a D that can get off field and a little discipline we can beat most teams.

Most of us want a chance at a Natty now. I'd trade Arch for a 4* 2 deep OL in a heartbeat.

You cannot substitute any position that will make up for a AA QB.

It’s hard to compare apples and oranges. We’ve seen what a once in a generation QB can do like Danny and Timmy, but they had a great OL in front of them, too.

That said, @NOLAGATOR makes a good point. Think of how many solid but not spectacular “game managers” have won a title at bamuh because saban recruits some insanely great OLs.

Your thoughtful realism has no place in this thread!

Don't mind him, guys.

Malik Bryant has always been interested but he’s never been favored to us.

I thought he was supposed to be a football player? He looks like he's about 5 inches taller than me yet I probably still outweigh him and I'm not all THAT overweight. 5'8" @ 167lbs. Does he even weight 160? Those arms are toothpicks!
