That “explanation” rates a zero. He’s as vague now as he was back then.

He implied strongly that roommate Jalen's sexual assault repulsed him. That Mullen's too lenient handling made him sick. So, he did not accept that sinful creepiness in his life. Get me outta here.

He said Mullen swept a sexual assault under the rug. Steele knew the details and wasn’t comfortable with that.

I don’t blame him.
Dan’s arrogance and laziness continues to show its ugly head. He took more risk recruits than any coach in UF history because he was busy living it up. That being said, Steele along with Jones fit the mold.

LOL, but AR was a sure thing talent wise. I’m talking about taking 4 star offensive lineman from the Caribbean that never made it on campus and DB’s from Commiefornia.

I was just having fun w/ ya.

Urban at least did a cost/benefit analysis: he wasn’t bringing a thug on board unless he could ball.

Dorky Dan saw the low 4 star thug as a sure fire way to get a bump in recruiting rankings, so he took him when possible so he didn’t have to work..

Two true stories!

I kind of remember this happening. I appreciate what Chris Steele is saying. If a coach is going to sweep something like that under the rug, it would be very hard to respect him after that. I have a few more thoughts that go a bit deeper into what he was saying but I respect his decision to not be a part of that type of program. Good on him!

He walked into the room, laughed and then walked out. He didnt leave for several weeks and he was out partying with Jalen on multiple occasions after the incident and before he left. He is full of poo.
