What are your top 3 realistic goals for the season? And, by realistic, I mean we can stretch a bit, maybe drink in some preseason "pumper" enthusiasm - but keep it realistic (subjective I know...). Mine:
  1. 9 wins heading into the post-season.
  2. Beat the filthy, disgusting, ass-sniffing Leghumpers
  3. An offense that moves the ball, scores some points and is fun to watch (dare I say, begins to evoke the emotion of watching the Fun-N-Gun in the '90s).
While 9 wins is admittedly optimistic, assume for a moment we hold serve and win the ones we should (Idaho, EMU, UK, UT, Mizzou, Vandy, EKU). Also assume that Bammer on the road is too steep a hill to climb, and assume for my ever-loving sanity that we win the WLOCP (big assumption, but I swear by all that is holy I will go on a 3 state killing spree if we don't). That means that we need to find one win: at home against LSU, at home against USCe or on the road against the Clowns to get to 9 wins. Of the 3, LSU seems the most likely W, to me anyway. The Mad Hatter usually has a trick or two up his sleeve and he recruits as well as anyone not named Saban, but they have a lot of holes to fill on that roster including QB. I think the home crowd will be the difference. We'll rattle their youngsters and eke this out. That's 9 wins heading into a bowl game where we roll some corn-fed Big10 gomers for a 10 win season and a feel-good story if there ever was one.

As for our offense, man, there's a ton of paper talent, deep backfield with different styles of RB, we're healthy and Roper is getting raves. I love offensive football. Please, move the ball, score some points, limit turnovers and be fun to watch.

So, what are your 3 realistic goals for the season?

1. Offensive improvement - starting with OL, but also including WR and QB play. Basically move the ball and score more points. More big plays

2. Defensive pressure - get more sacks and really pressure opposing QBs into making bad plays

3. One "big" win and no "bad" losses - need a win vs. Bama, FSU, or UGA. I'd prefer FSU or UGA, but a win against Bama would be nice also.

2. Beat Georgia.
3. Win the East.

Only one goal...win the SEC East. If that's not realistic, then we have sunken to depths we haven't seen in a generation.

You nailed it. Have an unpredictable competent offense, get the Ga monkey off our back, and win 9 (which means we won a very tough game or two we were not favored)

We've added two powderpuff victories to the schedule over the last few years. I love how returning to Zook level is the only realistic option and anyone who suggests that 4-6 losses is unacceptable are people who "aren't being reasonable".

If Muschimp can't get win a championship his dawg smelling azzz should be fired.

Being a third tier SEC team (9-4, 8-5, 7-6) isn't good enough around here. I love how you just write off being competitive enough to compete with mighty LSU or Ugly. Hell, Zook beat those chumps.

You people are disgusting.

Exactly and the first two will result in number 3.

UF is going to win the SEC east with Muschamp as the coach and Driskel as the qb, and you're gonna learn to like it. The rest of us are going to spend the next year reminding you how insufferable you were during our brief down years and how you bashed everything about the program, the players, even the damn basketabll team. You're going to have Muschamp and Driskel shoved so far up your ass by the members of this board that you're going to develop a Stockholm-like Syndrome which finds you actually pulling for the players and coaches at the University of Florida.
