Just to remind Ox that he banned me after the Miami game last year for posting "we will be alright" in every Flaming Thread after the game. His reason, I was saying the same think over and over........ I guess law's constant drivel is different. Three days if my memory is right. :ox:
He banned you for being stupid and wrong. It's different.

Seriously, dude? You pumpers really think I'm the only dude who hates Mushchimp, don't you?

I'm tired of relentless and neverending belief that Chimp will suddently figure out how to his job, all prior job performance and his win loss record to the contrary.
Yeah because nobody has actually called for you to get banned. Big difference in that and telling you to knock it the F off.

I started a poll last night that said "Are you sick of Law?" and it was at 3-0 in favor of yes before the thread was deleted. I'm sure it would be around 50-4 right about now if it was still around.

Once again, you guys are missing the point worse than our kickers last year. We understand your opinions on the team and Muschamp. Believe me, we get it. But when you go into a thread about the ALS ice bucket challenge, or a thread about two senior walk-ons being rewarded scholarships for their hard work because a couple opened up unexpectedly, you don't want to be slapped in the face with keyboard diarrhea about Muschamp. And the immature made up names don't help, either. Grow up, for crying out loud, you're embarrassing yourselves.

Last year is over. 98% of us are ready to move on and talk about this season. There's plenty of reason for optimism, and if you don't think so, that's fine. But I don't see anyone going into a thread about rock music saying OMFGGGGGGGG WE'RE GONNA KICK SO MUCH AZZZZZZZZ THIS YEAR!!!!!

There's nothing wrong with stating your opinion once and leaving it at that.
I've gone on record saying we should win 9-10 games this year. 2012 wasn't a disaster, no matter how much you want it to be. And not shockingly, 2012 was the only year Muschamp has had his starting QB not miss extended time because of injury. But as I've said before, you'll never give any kind of credit whatsoever to the man no matter what I say, so I'm just pissing in the wind here.

I've decided I'm going to demand that you Pumpers get banned for needless posting optimism into every thread.

Go screw yourself!

:woohoo:
Yeah, because we're the ones coming up with fake names for a grown man like some 5 year olds.

3-5 twice, 1-5 vs rivals, something like 5-13 vs ranked teams. Barely over .500 vs sec. come from behind victories vs. Furman, Lafayette, losses to Vandy and. a bad 1aa team.

The resume is clear. You are the one divorced from reality. Facts. Not just a prayer that he will change.

Both 3-5 years with injured starting QB's. And even in 2011 when Brantley was relatively healthy, he was still John Brantley. Hell, even Urban Meyer couldn't win with him.

And were we supposed to beat teams like South Carolina and FSU with Skyler Mornhinweg playing quarterback? Were we supposed to win at LSU and Missouri with Tyler Murphy playing quarterback? Were we supposed to beat UGA or hell, even Vandy with an injured Tyler Murphy playing quarterback? You're in some kind of delusional state I've never seen before if you think it was realistic to win any of those games with that kind of handicap. The only indefensible losses we had last year were Georgia Southern and Miami. They just straight sh*t the bed in the red zone against Miami (blame to go all around, both players and coaches), and flat out didn't care about the Georgia Southern game. But having been in a situation like that before, I don't blame the players for not caring anymore.

And is Tennessee no longer a rival? When did that happen? Now you're just twisting numbers to fit your agenda. Lawyer through and through.

I think there is one thing that we can all agree on. None of us really know how the season will turn out. We could kick ass and make it to the SEC Championship game and beyond, we could be mediocre, and we could have a repeat of last year. If you can at least agree with me on that point, then how can all you negative nancies be so goddamn sure that we're going to suck and that Muschamp should be gone and that Driskel should be sitting on the bench? If you agree with my premise, then you're contradicting yourself by being absolutely sure that only the last option will occur. You see, that is what I believe is the big difference between the pumpers and the negative nancies. We're hopeful that things will go well; y'all are SURE that things are going to go wrong. In addition, you're exaggerating greatly when referring to the "fairy tales posted in every thread." I don't see that. I see the non-negative nancies as having a wait-and-see, if not hopeful, attitude that last year's train wreck can finally be turned around with even half an offense. Your "fairy tales" hyperbole is not an accurate depiction of the general mindset of the "pumpers." One last thing -- can you also agree with me that optimism is a more desirable trait than pessimism?
We'll have to agree to disagree. I continually read all the excuses from last year and about how great we're gonna be his year, but whatever. I expect an improved offense (how can it not be) and a 7-5 type season. I hope for better, but I also hope to win the lottery. If that makes me a pessimist in your eyes, then so be it. I call it being realistic and making an educated guess based on past performances.

Well Ox, if nothing else is learned from this thread, you should be glad to learn that people care about this board. Posters are on here fighting for the culture of this board to be the right culture and engaging seriously in the discourse. That, at least, should be encouraging for you.

Also, any new members or lurkers will quickly see our dirty laundry. ...and they'll be able to quickly assess who's who!

No to the ban. We're here because we can be ourselves here. Besides, he loves the Gators. Fan is short for fanatic and we are passionate about the Gators. You gotta respect the love, the passion, the emotion the guy has for his team.

That said, if a poster (any poster) blatantly hijacks a thread into a direction it wasn't naturally heading...well, that POST should be deleted, no? Not the poster banned, just the post deleted. Makes sense to me.

As an aside, I don't ever want to see Sid post here or Quasimodo post here. Ever. Law's agenda is "I love the Gators and want them to succeed" which is admirable and gives him some leeway. Sid and Q have a much different agenda and they can go F themselves.

Alex.
Disagree on the basis of deleting posts. Agree with everything else.
