Seriously though, he had a lot of us on the old GSMB believing he really was gay (NTTAWWT), until he 'came out' as straight.

I always wondered what was up with the creepy av he had over 4 years ago. Did he lose some kind of bet?

My favorite memory of Danny Kannell was his senior season, he's FSU's starting QB, and they roll into the Swamp. #3 Florida versus #6 Florida State.

We beat them 35-24.

Check out the 4:00 mark where Ben Hanks blindsides him.

The next two plays shown on the video are Kannell INTs including the one that iced the game for us.

Good times, good times.

Go lie down in front of speeding busload of clowns. You will feel much better afterward.

Danny was a straight up baller!!!

Before any of you jump on Dubs, he's talking about Danny Wuerffel, NOT the other Danny in this thread.

Wuerffel threw for 453 yards and 4 touchdowns against the 6th ranked team in the country in that game.

Yes, Dubs. Wuerffel was a baller.

I was at that game! Noon start and the drunkest I've ever been at a Gator game. We had our normal 'game day' party the night before (because of the Noon start), so we got up early with killer hangovers and instead of going back to drinking beer again, we made blender drinks with lots of rum. I was stumbling so bad walking to the stadium that my friends didn't think they were going to let me in. No worries! As it was, our seats were on about the 20 yard line, standing the whole time, and I remember only falling on the people in front of us one time. What a great game!

I was between the 40s, 25-35 rows up (pretty much my zone for all the '95 and '96 home games). Plastered, as usual.

That was a great time to be a Gator.

Only 2 home losses from 1990 to 1997. Putting up 40+ on top ten ranked teams like it was nothing. It was a special era.

Great time to be a Gator! A friend of ours who owned a motorcycle was out in front of the Porpoise right after the game and dipped one of those FSU car flags (just stolen from an FSU fan's ride) into his gas tank, pulled it out and lit it on fire. He made the front page of the Sun (mullet wrapper) on Sunday morning.
