As much as he's disliked here, Peyton is a HOF QB ... and statistically one of
the top 2 (with Brady).

I hope this "teabag" thing just clears up in his favor.
I also hope to continue to see him humorous in commercials.
His family is quietly very charitable. They give back to youth.
... If his "what's-his-name-brother" looks dull during all this, it's probly 'cause
it all shows Eli "the writing on the wall"

... And, of course, Danny Weurfell was the better CFB QB ! As, articles & TV Specials on the
greatness of Peyton Manning will now abound I am compelled to posit this .....

As I write this I noticed I'm filled with great pride .. I think you will fill with pride as you read it.>>

>> Danny Weurffel, CFB HOF QB > Back in the day Sports Illustrated planned to put
Manning on its cover but Danny bumped Manning off (that has a nice ring to it).
Weurffel is our (& everybody's in the know) quiet Christian missionary of import, real effect
in the lives of youth-at-risk for dispirited lives through his Desire Street Ministries (Now moved
from New Orleans to Atlanta.) I think the sports media should compile & present video
testimonials from youths whose lives were saved through missionary Danny Weurffel.

As the most prominent CFB QB Danny Weurffel won the Sammy Bough Trophy, the
Danny O'Brien Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, QB of the Year by the
CFB TD Club. Thusly in the greatest most exciting young athlete spotlight, Danny
declined to appear in Playboy Magazine's All American Team photo-writeup as well as
Playboy's Scholar Athlete of the Year Award saying: ""That's not the type of person I am
or like to portray myself as."" T
hat's the type of public honorable mentions the public needs.

Danny was awarded The Draddy Trophy given by the National Football Foundation &
CFB HOF for the nation's top FB Scholar-Athlete. For sure Danny put his UF bachelor's
degree in Public Relations to "holy" use in his real very real career.

IMHO, Danny Wuerffel is the topmost rep of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The All-Sports Association of Fort Walton Beach created the "Wuerffel Trophy",
given annually to the athlete who best examples DW's lifestyle on the field and in
the classroom. Sculptor Stanley Proctor created the trophy statue of Danny praying after
a Florida TD, not many athlete trophies portrayed like that, porprayed like that. A stretch
of highway 98 at Destin is named by the Florida Legislature as "Danny Wuerffel Way"
{ that Tallahassee body hasn't honored any FSU athlete in any way.}

Us GatorNation guys & gals can beam with unblemished warm pride over Danny Wuerffel
and Tim Tebow, our great QBs and greater humanitarians, who've never even thought of
assaultive trespassing on any woman.

Sorry for this verpostity but I had to ... knowing the glowing that Peyton Manning will
get now as his real career ends, is put to rest, while Danny's and Tim's real careers
are ongoing.

So does he retire as a Bronco or a Colt? Sounds like Elway is ready to erect a statue of Peanut head in Denver. He really didn't do much there and certainly wasn't the reason they won the SB.

That statue sculptor couldn't get the feet right because in films they were always in moving-tantrum.

Well that's just great. Now we get to hear him blather on incessantly on the set of some pregame show.

Guess the drug inquiry gets dropped. Do you think the drugs were actually for his wife?

Yeah...they were probably for her since I believe she had neck surgery and some sort of ACL issue, not to mention shoulder problems.
It's tough business raising kids.

Peyton is fine - nothing to see here... move along.

If Elway has a statue erected, it is to remind people, that he, Elway, brought Manning in and therefore was responsible for the Superbowl win (forget the defense, forget the defense, look at the statue, forget the defense) The 2nd covert suggestion is hey, when Elway retires from the Broncos, let's make a statue of him, as he is the greatest of them all both as player and management. After all, we know he deserves a statue even more than Manning. Elway is about Elway.

Damn, I was hoping he would come back. Then have some 280 lb Lineman force him into retirement.
