No, my point is you make blanket statements disparaging the Gators on a regular basis, without facts or supporting context. You made a statement out of your A$$ which doesn't hold water, then you attempt to change your argument when called on it with facts that don't support your initial statement.
REALLY....This whole thing was due to my concern over who's going to be our starting QB. Now you come along with some "facts" from god knows where that supposedly prove me wrong....You haven't even provided a link to your BS findings....Yet my random statement which any logical person would know to be true is, at least those of us who regularly watch football would, and I'm not changing my argument.....not one bit. Players are bigger, stronger and faster.

Better Numbers on the Gators Offensive line from FloridaGators.com for the 1996 teams at the start of the season:

Jeff Mitchell Center 6-5 291
Mo Collins OT 6-5 312
Zach Pillar OT 6-5 306
Ryan Kalich OG 6-3 282
Donnie Young OG 6-4 315

Backups:
Scott Bryan (F) OT 6-4 273
Sean Ladd (So) OT 6-4 265
Cooper Carlisle (F) OT 6-5 285
Todd Holland (Jr) OT 6-6 274
Deac Story (So) OG 6-4 281
Pat Browning (So) 6-4 294
Zac Zedalis (F) 6-3 279
Cheston Blackshear (F) 6-3 272

Another good sign of the 1996 team... look how many underclass linemen we had... would be nice today wouldn't it.

I gave you the sources name. Mr. Blank Bealima lover. I gave you the opportunity to prove me wrong, you have failed.

As far as "logical Person" when have you proven to be that? You mentioned weight of the linemen, and counter point was made. You initial point was wrong. WRONG. Then you changed it to BMI and Height. It's the same old effort by you. Blanket statement, then whine, then change the argument.... then whine..

You blanket statement that the worst Alabama team in the last 5 years, would be better than one of the best SEC teams in the last 20 is just ridiculous.

Yeaaahhhh... that's kinda true, 'Crete. He's sorta got you there...
You can't win around here...If you go with the popular "we're going to be great" attitude you're bashed for being a pumper.....If you voice concern about a vital position to the team you're raked across the coals anyway....May as well have some fun.

How is you disparaging the 1996 team about a vital position on this year's team?

WOW.....Looks like I wasn't that far off.....and when I originally said 275, I meant to put a question ? then a slash 285 like I normally do......Another note is at the end of the year we were playing more of those back up players.

I said ANY TEAM THAT HAS WON A NC IN THE LAST 10 YEARS.....

then you are smoking even heavier crack than I thought. 96 team was a better team than the 06 teams. Better than the 07 LSU team. Buff, Buff, give.

That 1995 Nebraska team would still kick some major ass today.
Seriously....What kind of Gator fan are you? 95 Nebraska team would have been crushed by Timmy, Percy, one of the top 5 defenses in all of modern CFB and the rest of "The Fastest Team in America". Hands down...
