The newer one (it's a 2008) is a daily driver. The older one is just a toy, nostalgic goodness, as well as being a "learning car". I learned one hell of a lot taking that car apart. Eventually I'll get rid of it for another project.NVGator;n303543 said:I guess I'm a little confused. Why would someone spend months restoring an older corvette to finally get it completed and then turn around and buy a new one? Just doesn't make sense to me.
I think what you learned is that it's more fun to drive new ones than to work on old ones.oxrageous;n303622 said:I learned one hell of a lot taking that car apart.
You would, eh? You aren't the boss of me!i plasti dipped the bowties on my ride and the wheels on my boat trailer. pretty good stuff. I'd advise against doing the whole car.
Yeah, at least a $4,500 difference. The whole car is worth less than 8 grand.Something wrong with REAL paint?
On a garaged car that's barely driven? I could get many years out of it.just saying you only get about a year out of it.
